Agni Kotikalapudi (15) is a part of Sofia's close friends. His older brother is dating Mia. Agni is very good at math an science, but does not think creatively and as such isn't the best at Smglish, though he still makes honors. He likes hip hop (especially Kendrick Lamar) and R&B (His favorite is Bryson Tiller). He comes off as cocky and pretentious, but it's just because he doesn't like showing his emotions. He is very witty and has been friends with Sofia since fifth grade.

Neha Samaya Kotikalapudi (26) is Agni's older sister. She acts friendly and laidback, but on the inside she is often nervous and anxious. Unlike Agni, she is good at reading and writing, and she works as a journalist. She also likes to run and explore her city.

Terry Josiah Rayan (27) is Neha's fiancé. Terry and Neha met in college, where Terry was studying art and design. He is a mural painter and recently painted for the high school Agni and Sofia attend. He loves life in Atlanta and has worked hard to get out of the ghettos he was born in. As a teenager, art is what kept him out of the gangs his older brothers had gotten mixed up in. He wants to be an example for the next generation of his family. He is very good at helping calm Neha's anxiety and getting her out of her shell.

Keisha Violet Rayan (6) is Terry's cousin. She lives in a much better environment than Terry grew up in, and she is a generally happy little girl. She is outgoing, curious, and determined. She is smart and can read well already. She likes art, animals, and climbing trees. She looks up to Terry a lot.

Seven Omari Catrell (16) is the nephew of Terry Rayan and the first cousin once removed of Keisha Rayan. Seven is a popular young man who does well in school. He was on the wrong path, but his Uncle Terry intervened. Finding out he had a beautiful voice, Terry put him in a local choir. Singing has really helped improve Seven's life. Seven recently came out as bisexual, and his parents are still coming to terms with it, though his mother has been much more accepting.

Isaiah Michael Catrell (13) is Seven's younger brother. He is a quiet boy who keeps to himself a lot and only has a couple friends. He is on the track team at his school. He also likes to draw and is interested in cars.

Cade Cesar Ortega (14) is one of Isaiah's best friends. Cade is a chef and soccer player. He also loves music and is on the track team. He's a natural entertained and is very loud, outgoing, and popular. He started at his and Isaiah's school last year but quickly became popular, and Isaiah was one of his first friends.

(I know I kept his name very similar, but Cade is actually one of my friends, and it's a running joke that his last name is actually Ortega, so I could t pass up an opportunity.)

Chaz Federico Ortega (21) is Cades brother. He has recently gotten married. He likes writing, traveling, and playing soccer like his brother. He is currently a finance manager. He also likes playing rugby.

Victoria Acelyn Ortega (30) is Chazs new wife. She is currently a housekeeper. She currently lives in Las Vegas with her new husband. She also likes art, especially painting. She likes traveling with her husband, and playing the guitar.

Kora Adela James (31), born Curtis Anderson James, is the sister of Victoria Ortega and the sister-in-law of Chaz Ortega. Kora has been an "out" transwoman since eighth grade, and her family has been very accepting. Kora is very loud and outgoing, but enjoys reading poems at home and coffee. She loves makeup. Kora is married and has a kid she carried to term to herself, thanks to a revolutionary procedure involving a uterine transplant.

Tyler Jedidiah Henderson (31) is Abbie's father and Kora's husband. Tyler is a home-designer and builder. He loves animals just like Abbie does and loves taking her out to feed deer and rabbits in the morning. The James-Henderson family are vegetarians, and Tyler loves sharing the kitchen with his wife. He particularity enjoys taking turns mixing cocktails with Kora after Abbie goes to bed. Tyler is a drawer as well and often sketches things for Abbie.

Eric Liam Waters-Abarullo (27) is Carla's older brother and Arturo's husband. He likes skateboarding, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and cooking. He and Carla often joke that their parents obviously couldn't raise their children straight.

Arturo Jose Waters-Abarullo (26) is Eric's husband and Carla's brother-in-law. He has interest in fashion and soccer. He also likes cooking and watching Mystery Science Theatre 3000 with his husband.

The couple have a daughter.
