So, I was waiting at the doctor's office today and there was the cutest little boy there. He was only about two and he kept coming over to me. I didn't mind at all and I smiled at him and talked to him. I asked him what his name was, and his mom from across the row tells me his name is Auxilary. I asked about that since it was such an interesting name, and she said she and her husband just liked it 'cause it was unique. And his middle name is Preston. Auxilary Preston. What do you think of that?

Whoops, I meant Auxiliary. Unless, of course, they did spell it Auxilary. Which is a possibility given that they named him that in the first place..

I suppose I could see the appeal of it. It is quite unique . but it just doesn't snag me. i like how it isn't so common, but i don't feel it as much of a name i suppose.

I usually like strange names.. but this one I am not sure about.. the meaning of Auxiliary isnt too bad I guess
but it just doesn't seem like much of a name. The Women's Auxiliary at the Hospital.. Auxiliary Jacks on my Stereo
or Computer. Just doesn't strike me. But Kudos to them for not going totally Trendy or Popular. (Don't get me wrong
I like some trendy/popular/classic names, I just usually prefer them with a twist of unusual pairings)

I think someone confused a dictionary with a baby name book. Auxiliary isn't a name anymore than Shoe or Telephone is a name.
