OMG!!!! Thank you thank you thank you to both of you. I am literally jumping up and down over your suggestions (I was getting very annoyed that I couldn't think of anything).
I honestly think Accomplice was the word I was searching for and just couldn't get and I am also loving the Ally, Companion and Counselor (actually, I am really leaning towards Companion).
I am still open to other suggestions also, though!
