So what I'm looking for today are names you find commonly in the South.
I don't just want Annabelle or Clara or Scarlett. I want deeper, more Southern names. Names you might find in Texas or maybe Georgia.
I also need last names and boy names, so if you could take the time, please give me a few suggestions for each.
Thank you, you wonderful, smart people! Thank you.

I live in the south, North Carolina to be exact. My family is split between White and Cherokee/Lakota Sioux Indians. My family consists of Williams, Davids, Johns, and a LOT of people named Thomas. MY whole family comes from Kentucky, Virginia, and North Carolina, so it doesn't sound too much like what your looking for, which is more south-central/west, since you used the state of Texas as an example. My parents lived in Texas for a while, and I've came u with deep south surnames:
- Sizemore
- Harris
- Perry (To make it sound more southern, to me at least, would use the name "Jim" as the first name to this surname)
- Royster
- Hill
- Begay (Surname derived from Navajo Nation, southwest surname of someone with Navajo ancestry)
- Thorpe
- Conley
- Calhoun
Boy Names:
- John
- Cooper
- Aaron
- Django
- Adam
- Thomas
- Jacob
- Peter
- Jim
- Duke
- John
- Hank
- Dale
- Merrill
- Graham
- Lewis/Louis
- Luis
- Johnathan
- Owen
- William
