So I had let a story "rest" for a few months, and even though i knew what would happen, I basically decided I was more interested in other pieces.
BUT the other day, BAM! Brainwave!
I started writing the other day, and I realized my old story and this story would fit together really well.
But at the moment... the two stories have different character names. WHAT DO I DO?

MC- Girl:
She's flighty, charming. Sort of the archetypal succubus, if you can imagine that. Shes sweet, she's firtatious, she wins your heart, and then stomps on it. BUT. she's been through a lot, and when she lets her guard down, its easy to see whyyyy she is so mean. But she just lures you in even more
Old story: her name was Mauve Galaway
New story: she only had a first name... Cosima
COMBO: ___________________?

MC- Boy:
MC-Girl's high school sweetheart. He would do anything and everything for her... but cant seem to shake the memory that she had broken his heart. He'll fall for her again, anyway, and beat himself up for letting her get to him.
Old story: his name was Russell David
New story: he, also, only had a first name... Nolan
COMBO: __________________?

Sorry if I confused you :P I just need help either choosing one of the old names or making a new one!

Boy: I LOVE the name Nolan, and I think it suits him... Nolan Russel is nice.

Thanks, Kayla :)
I love Nolan Russel, I never thought about giving him that LN. I tried out Nolan David but it's a lot of consonants, lol.
I'll think about Cassandra... And I like Genevi, but maybe as a nn for Genevieve or even Geneva?

I love Nolan Russel!

As for your girl character, I like Genevieve, Geneva, Genevi, Genevra or something like this but I think you should call her Gena!

I love all of those names! Gena is so cute!

Do you think it fits the seductress type though? Mauve was a little Hipster and Cosima was a little out there and all these G names are so cute... But do they match the "chewing up your heart and spitting it out" persona?
I don't want a name like Ursula that's got so many evil connotations... But maybe one that sounds (awkward phrasing) evil-y-seductive?
{Sorry to be so picky! if you say these G names are "succubi names" I'll put them right at the top of my list. I do like them :)}

I think that any of those (Genevieve, Geneva, Genevi, Genevra, etc.) are very 'pretty' names, which fits the "sweet, firtatious, wins your heart" part of the description.

The nn Gena (and I'm pronouncing this GEE-nah) has more bite to it. I think it fits the "chewing up your heart and spitting it out" persona.

So, in a way the combo of full name and nickname together - in my opinion - fits your character perfectly.

Hope that helped! :)

Hmmmm
On the hunt for seductive names.
What do you think of Flavia, Vittoria (Too angels and demons?) or Lara?

And I like Genevieve "Gena" Galaway. :)

How about Nolan ___ Russel (it doesn't matter if he doesn't have a middle name) and Delphine Genevieve Galaway nn Del?) I love Genevieve as a MN but I'm leaning to something more like Flavia, Delphine, or Appoline....

Nolan Nomiddlename Russel sounds good. :)

I like it. :)
Although I knew a girl named Del in grade 2, and she was super nice.
But maybe that's changed. :) Haha.

For the main girl, I think Mousi whould be a cute nickname. My reasoning: Mauve and Cosima=Mousie M, U and E from Mauve and O,S and I from Cosima

Ummm: Russell and Nolan = Roslel... no... Ross? Rollo.....?

Thanks for the suggestions! I wasn't thinking of actually combining their names though. :)
I'm pretty set on Nolan Russel, and I'm testing the waters with Delphine nn Del Galaway (and if the story requires it... and MN of one of those adorable G names!)

So now onto other characters. Nolans best friend is Mark, that's for sure. Any LN suggestions? He's laid back, and is always Nolan's go-to-guy for Del-Drama. He hates her guts, for everything shes done to Nolan, but would never tell him.

And for Del's sister, I loved Kayla's suggestion of Cassandra... But I worry it sounds super long with Delphine. Does Cassia sound better? Cassia and Delphine or Cassandra and Delphine?
