After searching through cleaning my room I found some school work from a few years back, in it was the poem Welcome to Holland. I never really thought about using a country as a name but I like the meaning of the poem and have played around with it as a middle name.
However I know that the poem is often sent to parents of special needs kids. Which I think is the first time I ever heard it. I realize it's a middle name and middle names aren't used that often but would most people connect it to the poem and/or special needs children when it is used/heard?
Holland?

I love the name Holland
I've always wanted to use Holland as a fn with the nn Hollie.
And I personally have never heard of that poem, so I don't make that connection.
I don't think most people would

Thanks for the input.
I like Holland as a middle name for William. I'm not sure on what I'd pair it with for a girl, I've not found a combo that's perfect just yet, I'm kind of just pulling names from other combos that I like. My girls' list is seriously short and lacking names.
Mia Holland (replaced Ashlynn/Aisling with Holland)
Mallory Holland (two names with double 'l's in the middle)
Chelsey Holland
Rylee/Riley Holland
Rebekah Holland (back to back 'h's)
Opinions and suggestions on the above list or anything else?

I've never heard of the poem, so I'm not sure if it is generally well known.
I think that it is more generally known that Holland is a country and since place names are trending at the moment I think Holland would be identified as a place name over a name in a poem that relates to special needs children.
