I'm working on a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/CSI: Miami crossover fan-fiction where Kimberly is a cop/CSI and one of the supporting characters is an elderly lady who lives in the same apartment building as Kim and her 7-year-old daughter Hannah.

This lady grew up on Cyprus.  She's a devout Greek Orthodox Christian who is widowed with 5 grown children and many grandchildren and has an overweight cat (I'm thinking of calling him Homer or Plato).  She is very sweet, but strong willed and independent, and enjoys reading, gardening, cooking enough food to feed a small army, and she's pretty athletic.  She especially likes dancing, horseback riding, and bowling.  She's like a grandmother figure to Kim and Hannah.

I can't decide on her name.  I was thinking Isadora or Dorothea nn Dory, but other first name suggestions are welcome too and I have no clue what her last name will be.  Greek surnames are fine if you can't think of any Cypriot ones specifically.

I like Isadora Anastasiades. I also think Deborah would be a nice name for her. I've never really liked the names Dory, Dorothy, or Dorothea, but it's not my story.

Hope this helps! :P
