Okay so I NEVER thought it would come to this..

But lately I have been loving the names, Taylor & Miley... [After Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.]

I hear, that some people name their kids after favorite inspirational celebrities.
After seeing Taylor Swift live, she is my inspiration and it would be nice to name my child after her... Maybe use Taylor as a middle name.
Maybe im just obsessed.
Maybe its a phase.
Maybe its the fact that, I am SUPER DOOPER EXCITED to see Miley live on Sunday Night :P

I would use them as middle names..

WDYT? of using Taylor and Miley... on my future Daughters... being named after the celebrities..?? :D

I like the name Taylor, but not so much a fan of the name Miley. But Taylor is a really lovely name.

And, I always come up with names after celebrities and what not I like. For a long time, I wanted to have twin girls and name then Natalie and Carla (after Carla Bonner and Natalie Bassignthwaighte in Neighbours lol). I still like the name Carla quite a lot. Also, the name Ryan joined my list after Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and the name Rafaela is on my list, after my OBSESSION with Rafael Nadal lol. I can't say I actually like the name all the much (it's okay) but I am determined to use it :P

I think it's okay to do that :D

I want to use Tayler/Taylor as one of my girl's names, too. I'm naming my first girl after me and Taylor.

Tayler Kelsey

I'm hoping its a phase :D

My best friend Robin has a thing for using names after her favorite tv/movie characters...

Alexander nn Xander (for Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Alexander nn Lex (for Lex Luther from Smallville)
She can't decide which ^
Tristian - for James Franco's character in Tristian+Isolde (she has a HUGE James Franco obsession)
Lucas - for Lucas on One Tree Hill
Nathaniel - for Nathan on One Tree Hill

Chloe (for Chloe on Smallville)

Though I guess its not really for the characters...she's just fallen in love with the names since she loves the characters so much.

So to answer your question ... if you LOVE the names then its okay...

I guess :\

:P

Hahaha! I think what matters is if you really like the name :D I mean, using the name in honor of them is sweet. But mainly you should at least love the name, I personally think :P

But I wanted to name my kiddo after Taylor Swift... I had the combo Lynette Taylor (which would have honored both us us I suppose, seeing as my middle name is Lynette. It's not how I was thinking though, I just like the name Lynette. lol <3 But the combo is really nice if I do say so myself :o

Hmm, here's a few first names for each! <3

Georgia Taylor // Georgia Miley
Callie Taylor
Rory Taylor
Willa/Willow Taylor
Brenna Taylor // Brenna Miley
Olivia Taylor // Olivia Miley
Annabel Taylor // Annabel Miley
Lila Taylor
Penelope Taylor // Penelope Miley
Charley Taylor
Joanna Taylor // Joanna Miley
Esther Miley
Aurora Taylor // Aurora Miley
Alana Taylor // Alana Miley
Rhiannon Taylor // Rhiannon Miley
Edie Taylor // Eden Miley

What do you think? More? :o xx

Oh, I think that's normal. I'm not a fan of either singers, I'm afraid - but Taylor is a nice name.

I didn't care for the name Sara until I started watching CSI several years ago (I think I was 15 at the time). And even though I'm not crazy about CSI nowadays, if I happen to have a daughter in the future, Sara will probably be either her first name or her middle name, just because of Sara Sidle. I also really like the name Jorja, because of Jorja Fox.

There are some names I love just because of TV characters and actors/actresses.

Elizabeth (Liz Lemon, 30 Rock)
Grace (Grace Adler, Will & Grace)
Vivien (actress Vivien Leigh)
Lucy (Sandra Bullock's character in While You Were Sleeping)
Gregory (Greg Sanders, CSI)
Brick (Brick Heck, The Middle)

Haha! That's too funny  I think that it just matters if you love the name. Because it's obviously very nice to name your children after someone whom you adore and that inspires you but only if you love the name too. Personally, I absolutely love the name Taylor, for both boys and girls, and I like Taylor more than Miley. Taylor Ashleigh sounds very pretty, if you wanted to incorporate your name into the name as well! :)

But yeah, I can be the same way sometimes haha. I like the name Diana because of Diana Agron, the name Grace because of Grace Adler (Will and Grace), Katherine because of Katherine Heigl, Lucy because of Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars anyone?! :P ), and a ton more! lol

I think it's normal to feel that way, but I also do think it may just be a phase =)
