PLEASE HELP! I am due to give birth to a baby boy in September and I am having MAJOR name problems! I really like traditional names but prefer something that's not so common. Or even a traditional name with a twist. My first born sons name is Waylon Hunter and we thought maybe we could stick with "W" names, or at least a name that sounds good with that name? I don't know! Please help! Also his middle name will most likely be John, after a deceased uncle, Any responses will be greatly appreciated!

We liked Wesley and Wyatt when looking at boy names. Also liked William.
I think those were our only W names though.

For classic but not totally common names:
Sebastian
Nathaniel
Emmet
Isaac
Samuel
Jeremiah

Weston John is a fine name, but do you think naming both your son's W names is a good idea? Because if you have any more children after this, you may begin to run out of names you like. Just a thought.

Anyways, Weston and Waylon would be a cute sib-set, as long as you don't mind them both ending with 'on'. Weston John is a pretty good name though!

Good luck, and please don't let what I said discourage you from using the name if you love it.

You are absolutely right about the W names, the only one I like is Weston. But hopefully if I do have another child it will be a girl, and a W name is out. But as things r it could be a boy, and I would be totally out of luck with a third W name. Thank u so much for your advice glad to see someone else likes Weston John.

Weston John is nice. I hate Wyatt and it's becoming way too popular.

Other non-W names that go well with Waylon...

Alden
Beau
Boyd
Devlin
Dylan
Hardy
Harvey
Henry
Hoyt
Jackson
Lawson
Sawyer

W Names:

Walker
Watson
West
Weston
Willem
Wilson
Winston

And if you ever do have a girl, why no W names? There are some nice ones… averly, Whitney, Willa, Willow, Winter

The reason for no W names for a girl is because I already have a girls named picked out, Giuliana Lynn. And thanks for ur names best ones so far:)

It's so funny, because after I read your initial post, WESTON came to mind...and then I scrolled down and saw you asked about it later as well.

I love Weston John. Perfect! Other names I have heard of that are somewhat traditional/uncommon and sound good with Waylon:

Willem
Wade (although, most one syllable names might not sound good with John...)
Warren
Walker
Wesley

Gavin/Gaven
Cash (again with the 1 syllable thing for these names...)
Levi
Derek
Bentley
Blayne
Easton
Gannon
Declan
Colton
Karson
Nash
Miles
Reed
Ian
Maxon
Vaughn
Zak
Cole

I hope this helps! Let us know what you decide!
