I've been liking the name Theodore lately. What are your opinions, good and bad? Do you like the nickname Theo? Would a kid named Theodore get called "Teddy" or "Teddy Bear"? Is Theodore too old-fashioned? Also, do you have any middle name suggestions for Theodore? Thank you!

I love the name Theodore. It's a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm not sure I would ever use it personally though. It seems too old fashioned for a little boy these days, but I still love it :)

I adore Theo, though.

I love the name Theodore. I have it on my list, and would use either Theo or Teddy as a nickname.

For middle names what about:
Everett
Calder
Hugo
Humphrey
Amos
Henry

I might add some more later when I think of them.

Hope this helped some though.

I also like Theodore a lot...though I'm leaning toward using it more for a middle name. I think the nickname Teddy is adorable for a little boy though not exactally usable on a grown man. I like Theo in theory but when I say it aloud it doesn't really do it for me. I just can't picture calling a grown man Theo or Teddy and I dislike Ted. :\ If their were any more great nicknames for Theodore I would use it as a first name in a heartbeat.

I like it! I mean, I'll never use it myself... but its handsome.

I don't mind nick names too much.. if the name has one it has one, but if not then it doesn't. Teddy is cute for a small child, and I think Teddy Bear would be just too cute haha! But I'm exactly the same as Katie on Theo... I like the idea of it. But when I say it out loud I dislike how I say it.. :L

Middle names...
Theodore Jacoby
Theodore Nathan
Theodore Mark
Theodore Luke
Theodore Bennett
Theodore Levi
Theodore Vincent
Theodore Isaac
Theodore Joseph
Theodore Cameron
Theodore Holden
Theodore Jack
Theodore Ryan
Theodore Michael
Theodore Josiah
