Olivia Mathilde Bellisario [21] is the eldest in the family and the older sister of Amelia and two younger brothers. Olivia is attending an out of state university and does not get to spend that much time with her family except for the holidays and summers. She is spunky and is studying photography and journalism. She would love to become an event planner and professional photographer for weddings. She is currently single but there is a guy who has shown interest in her but she is afraid since she has never been in a serioous relationship before.

Marshall Leo Bellisario {16} is the second oldest child in the Bellisario family, older brother to Amelia and a brother and younger brother to Olivia. He is very studious and well-liked by adults, which makes him able to be very slick also. He is a great big brother and spends a lot of time with his younger siblings. When he graduates high school, he wants to go to school to be a history teacher.

Tyler Kore Smythe [17] is the boyfriend of Marshall Bellisario, the pair have been dating for two years and are very much in love with one another. They've been good friends since they were young and Tyler admires how caring Marshall is while also acknowledging how slick he can be to get them out of trouble for skipping P.E to go spend some quality boyfriend time behind the bleachers. Tyler himself is interested in fashion and design and wants to be an interior decorator when he graduates. Marshall and Tyler have already discussed college plans and options, where they will go - together and have already been looking for apartments to rent to live in together during their college years. Tyler has six older brothers and his parents are happily married and were high school sweethearts themselves so he had no problem envisioning his future with Marshall lasting forever.

Melisande Juliet Smythe {2} is the niece of Tyler. She is very introverted and prefers to spend time playing by herself than with others. She has started becoming a little less shy since her baby sister was born, she loves to help her mama feed the baby and play with the baby.

 

Therese Jessamine Smythe {3mos.} is the younger sister of Melisande, and the niece of Tyler. She is a fussy baby who cries a lot, but she always has a sweet smile for her big sister.

Abbot Baxter Smythe [31] is the oldest of the six Smythe boys and the father of Melisande and Therese and loves them more than the waking world. He works as a Sports Broadcaster and does very well for himself. His wife is an ex-NFL cheerleader and she's also his world and the stay-at-home mother to their two beautiful daughters - Abbot's been talking with her about having another baby already as he wants a big family like he grew up in with seven kids. He and all his brothers' have occupational name and range in age from 31-17 - Abbot [31], Brother [30], Brother [29], Brother [27], Brother [25], Brother [23] and Tyler [17]. Abbot has always known about Tyler being gay and has never had an issue with it and made sure if anything ever happen Tyler could come to him, he even made sure to sit Marshall down and give him a good talking to about ever hurting his precious baby brother when they started dating.

Alba Savannah Dean {6} and Pacey Caroline Dean {5} are the next door neighbor girls of Abbot, Melisande, and Therese Smythe. The two girls sometimes clash because they are so different. Alba is always getting into trouble, but Pacey is rarely breaking the rules. Sometimes Alba gets frustrated because Pacey is "perfect" and never gets in trouble, and Pacey gets tired of Alba always frustrating mom and dad. However, all in all they love each other and would do anything for each other. Recently, a girl at school has been picking on Pacey and Alba stood up for her.

Starr Alyssa Babbitt [8] is the girl whom bullied Pacey at school. She has always failed academically, and comes from a broken home. Her mother had her when she was 16, and her father is a drug addict. Se is stubborn like her father and rage build up and she takes it out on the kids at school. She steals their lunches and makes fun of their names, despite the fact that she hates her own name. She usually picks on the younger kids since they are more vulnerable.

Dane Michael Babbitt {16} is the older half-brother of Starr Babbitt via her father. He keeps his distance from his family, especially his father. His dad left his mother and moved on to the next girl when Dane was only 2. And a year after that woman was another, and another, and another. Dane hasn't kept up with all of his half-siblings: he doesn't even know how many half-siblings he has. Dane's mom is an alcoholic and workaholic. Because of that, he basically lives with his best friend. Dane recently got an internship as an assistant to Abbot Smythe. Things are looking up for him. Dane is terrified of ending up like his father.

Proctor Whit Smythe [23] is the second youngest seven Smythe boys. He's currently in Law School and does some pro-bono work to beef up his resume for things and ended up doing some work for Dane's mother which is how he met Dane and got him an internship with Abbot since he seemed like a smart kid in need of a little help. Proctor  and all his brothers' have occupational name and range in age from 31-17 - Abbot [31], Brother [30], Brother [29], Brother [27], Brother [25], Proctor [23] and Tyler [17]. Proctor never realized Tyler was gay, he and Tyler were never really very close but he honestly didn't care as long as his brother was safe and not doing anything stupid, and happy. Proctor is currently single and not looking for anything serious.

Tanelle "Nellie" Sofia Berry-Crozier [23] is the best friend of Proctor and they have grown up together since kindergarten. They have gone through so much together but heaven forbid they ever date. Tanelle has suppressed her feeling for Proctor for a while and now its driving her crazy. She is studying marine biology  masters in San Diego State University and the distance makes it hard for them to keep in touch. Her family is from the coast of california and she loves the ocean.

Lyle Jagger Berry-Crozier {17} is the only sibling of Nellie Berry-Crozier. He is graduating high school and his headed to UC-Berkeley in the fall studying Sustainable Environmental Design. He is dating a sweet girl that was his best friend since elementary school, so he is in similar shoes as his sister.

Natalie June Kennedy [16] is the girlfriend of Lyle and best friend since elementary school. She turns 17 the day after school ends and couldn't be more excited for summer. She loves rock music but a passion for shakespeare literature. She wants to become a book editor so that he can read literature all day. She is the only child biologically but has four other sibling whom are adopted.

Nicholas 'Nicky' James Kennedy {24} is the older adopted brother of Natalie and three other adopted siblings. Nicky works as a painter and decorator and adores his job. He is married to his childhood sweetheart, and they currently have two children together. He is a fun, outgoing person who loves to make people laugh, but the people he loves making laugh the most are his family. He hopes that he and his wife can have more children in the future, and they are already planning to adopt at least one.

 

Ella Rosamund Kennedy {1} is the daughter of Nicky, and the niece of Natalie. She is a happy, bubbly baby who simply adores her papa. She has an older sister who is 3 who she loves to play hide and seek with.

Evelyn Sawyer Kennedy {24} is the wife of Nicky Kennedy and sister-in-law of Natalie. She and Nicky married young, four years ago when they were both twenty. Evelyn is smart and hardworking. She isn't silly like Nicky, but she does love to laugh. She never would have thought she would end up with someone like him, but when she fell hard for him in high school she knew he was the one. They've seen hard times, but it has drawn them even closer. It's always been them up against the world. Evelyn really likes Natalie's boyfriend Lyle and thinks they make a great pair. She is hoping that maybe someday Natalie can marry her high school sweetheart and be as happy as she is. Evelyn has two brothers and no sisters, so having Natalie as a sister-in-law has been really cool for her.

 

Emma Leona Kennedy {2} is the eldest child of Nicky and Evelyn. She is such a sweet big sister, always wanting to help take care of baby Ella. She was so happy when she found out it was a girl instead of a boy. She loves helping mommy pick out dresses and bows for her sister to wear.

Grace Miranda (Scott) Nelson {21} and Isaac 'Ike' Oliver Nelson {22} are next door neighbours of the Kennedys. They are newlyweds who are just starting their life together. Grace is a kind, compassionate person who loves to help others. She is hoping to work as a kindergarten teacher, and is currently studying for her degree. She has a twin sister, but no other siblings. Ike can be bold and brash at times, but he has a good heart and doesn't mean to hurt people with his words. He is studying to become an accountant. He has 2 older siblings, and 1 younger sibling. The couple are hoping to have a few children in the future, but want to wait a few years.

Benjamin Eli James, III {25}, Claire Madison [Barnes] James {25}, and Susannah Adeline James {1} are the next door neighbors of Grace & Ike Nelson and Nicky & Evelyn Kennedy. They all live on a quaint little cul-de-sac and know each other quite well. Claire's father and Mr. Berry-Crozier, father of Lyle and Nellie, worked together so she knew them growing up. Ben is a pastor. The James family is very happy and are perfect together. Ben and Claire have only one child: sweet Susannah, but they hope to have more in the future. Claire wants 4 kids.

Grady Kendrick Fisher {25} and Tatum Kendra Fisher {3} are a single father and daughter who live on the same street as Benjamin & Claire James, Grace & Ike Nelson, and Nicky & Evelyn Kennedy. Grady loves the fact that there are so many young families on his street with kids that his daughter can play with. He works as a hairdresser, and often has to work weekends but his neighbours help him out with childcare when his ex-girlfriend can't have or doesn't want to have Tatum. Tatum is a happy go lucky little girl who tends to be quite shy. She adores her daddy, but she doesn't understand why her mum doesn't live with them or see her very often. She likes to play with the neighbour kids, and is quite close friends with Emma and Ella Kennedy, and Susannah James.

Jennifer Sabrina Barron {28}, with daughter Sabriah Faith Barron {6}, is the current girlfriend of Grady Fisher. They've only been dating a few months, but Jennifer really likes him and thinks he might be "the one." Grady is the first boyfriend Jennifer has had since Sabriah's father. Sabe's father died in a construction accident at work and the two girls miss him everyday, but Jennifer finally feels ready to move on.

Orlando Freddie Barden - 11 years old

Orlando is a really loving and caring guy. He doesn't really like to wear shirts and loves to climb up trees. He lives across the street where Jennifer and Sabriah lives. He would often have parties at Jennifer and Sabriah's house. He doesn't normally like to be questioned about the fact that he takes his shirt off. He loves to play games and have fun.

Houston Max Barden [8] is the younger brother of Orlando. It is just the two of them and Houston has more of an attitude than Orlando. He likes his room to be neat and clean but unfortunately shares rooms with Orlando which is really frustrating for him. Houston just bought an ice cream machine from a garage sale and is what has been eating for the past three days straight after each meal. Both boys live with their single mom at home- their parents divorced a long time ago.
