Hello! For one of my character families I’m a bit stuck on two brothers’ names. Are Cole and Kyle too similar for brothers? I can see it would be a bit of a tongue twister but at the same time I think they go well together. Their full names would be Cole Aiken Westerberg and Kyle Columbus Westerberg. Their brothers are Oliver Nash (should I lengthen it to Nashville?) Westerberg and Thomas Charleston (I’m a little on the fence for this one, any middle name suggestions would be appreciated, please keep the place name trend) Westerberg. If you think Cole and Kyle are too similar, the main options are Logan, Simon and Graham, but suggestions are welcome. Please hav WTHH name fit with the brothers’ names and his middle name Columbus.

Yep, Cole and Kyle sound too close for brothers. I think Cole and Simon or Kyle and Logan would be a good fit.

I’m keeping Cole either way, and I agree that Cole and Simon are good together.

I think that with two classics like Oliver and Thomas, Cole and Kyle feel a bit too similar in sound and style to blend in convincingly without confusion. Good luck on the book Liam!!

Also, I’ve decided to change Thomas’s middle name to Brighton (Thomas Brighton Westerberg). Thoughts?

But at the same time, I really like Thomas Essex and how it fits with Oliver.

Brighton as a middle name definitely ties in more to the sibset. With Charleston, Thomas felt very uptight and princely whereas Oliver, Cole, and Graham have a very laid back, more "modern" feel (just because of their prominent use currently, not that they aren't established names). Brighton takes Thomas down a notch and matches him well to Oliver, Cole, and Graham.

Also, love your sig  :P

Between Logan, Simon, and Graham I think Logan goes best with Cole, Oliver, and Thomas. I like Graham the most as a name but I don't think it goes with the other names as well.
