I need help brainstorming for boys names. Ben doesn't really like any of my favorite names, and I find the names he likes just a tad boring or just bad. I would appreciate any suggestions you can come up with based on the below lists. Thanks! (I may come back and add some more).

His:

Nathaniel ****
William
Zackary ***
Xavier ***
Indiana ****
Lucius
Bruce
Raiden
Aragorn

Mine:

Wiley ****
Amos ***
Rand ***
Eller
Casper
Theodore
Dicken

Thanks Laramie, I probably should have been more clear that I was looking for more first name suggestions and not middle names but I appreciate your opinions on our current lists and I like a lot of the 'middle' names you suggested: Isaac, August, Grey, Bryson, Sawyer, Alfred (we've already agreed to use the middle name Lark Alfred after my g-pa), Eli, Milo, Jude, Silas & Rhys.

Thanks Yasmine, I'd forgotten that Ben already told me he really likes Gabriel & Miles (I'd vetoed Gabriel because it is a friend of our's kids name and they do visit quite often). From your list I like: Jesse, Max, Simon, Elias, Ezra, August, Jude, Darwin, & Abram.

I'll have to run these names by Ben later.

Nathaniel ***
I don't mind this name, I think if you come up with a really interesting middle name, it could work. e.g. Nathaniel Sutton, Nathaniel Dakota, Nathaniel Archer, Nathaniel Caspar

William
I like this name, but it is very plain and common. Again, you'd need a good middle name. E.g. William Kincayde, William Isaac, William Tucker, William Theodore

Zackary *
I don't like the spelling. I prefer the usual Zachary. This name is so common, though, I wouldn't use it at all.

Xavier ***
I've never liked this name, I don't know why

Indiana ****
I like this. It is interesting. I probably wouldn't use it, but I like it. Unless your last name is Jones, haha. E.G. Indiana Theodore, Indiana Benjamin, Indiana Logan, Indiana Kellan, Indiana Oliver, Indiana Austin

Lucius
This name sounds a little creepy in my opinion. Like black magic or Slytherin from Harry Potter

Bruce
This sounds like a fat plumber guy single in his fourties. Haha no offence

Raiden
This has potential. E.g. Raiden Dakota, Raiden Archer, Raiden Sawyer, Raiden Elliot

Aragorn
Oh, please, please don't name your child this. Unless they are part dragon, please don't name them this.

Mine:

Wiley ****
I have a bad memory with this name, but other than that, I like it

Amos ***
Another bad memory with this name, but I think it could make an awesome middle name

Rand **
I don't like this name because it sounds like Rind, you know, fruit rinds. But That's just me.

Eller
Has potential

Casper
I love this! I prefer the spelling Caspar, but again That's just me. I think it is sweet. E. G. Casper Nathaniel (to compromise), Casper Sebastian, Casper Elliot

Theodore
I love this name, too! You could do Theodore Nathaniel to compromise

Dicken
I like it, but in middle school, the kid will get so made fun of he'll have to drop out of school. I would avoid any use of foul language, even though it is a name, I don't think the other kids will see it that way.

Out of his, I like Nathaniel & William. Out of yours I like Amos, Casper & Theodore.

As for Aragorn... that's a little out there. I'm assuming he's a LOTR fan?
Maybe you could go with something like Strider - it was Aragorn's alias, and it is less overt.

Actually Strider might be a bit more doable. Thanks!
