I'm not having a boy, maybe some day (since I have two girls, I don't know about three haha), but since I've been thinking up girls names, I've been looking at some boys names too. I really like the nickname Alec but I'm not that crazy about Alexander. Since my girls have Irish/English names, I know Alistair is a variation of Alexander. Do you think it could work? The gaelic form is Alasdair, which I dig, but I guess Alistair is the more recognized spelling. Would it make an okay sibset with my girls names?
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin, Alistair "Alec" Donovan
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin, Alistair "Alec" Kiernan
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin, Alistair "Alec" Owen
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin, Alistair "Alec" Pierce
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin, Alistair "Alec" Ronan
WDYT: Alec

Alistair is very handsome! And it definitely fits in with the two girls
But, I see no way that Alec is a nick name to Alistair I don't understand where it comes from <3 Al, Ali, Lis, Alis, etc would be handsome though <3

I explained it in my post. Alec is a nickname for Alexander, but I don't like Alexander. Alistair/Alasdair is a variant of Alexander. The point is to use to nn Alec without having to name my kid Alexander. I don't want to call him Alis or Al or Lis.

Well, I did read it lol... But I don't think that really works :x though it's a from of Alexander, it doesn't have the root Alex/Alec
You could always just do Alec alone Alec alone is perfectly fine and super handsome! It isn't one of those names that sound like a nick name at all, perfecty strong, mature name

I agree with Haddie--Alec alone would be really nice.
This would be cute: Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin and Alec Keirnan (I also liked Ronan). Good luck!

I also agree
I much prefer Alec alone, rather then Alistair!
Fiona Siobhan, Georgia Bevin and Alec Ronan, would make a really cute sibset
