Alpha and Nova - Alpha is the brightest star in every constellation and most importantly it symbolises primacy and excellency.
Nova and Elio - Elio is the female version of Helio which means sun. In case you wanted to stick with the same meaning and all.
Nova and Millenny - Millenny is short for millennium. This is an rare name due it's meaning and spelling. Millennia as an alternative use.
Nova and Mimosa - Mimosa is also another worthy star like Nova.
Nova and Halley - Halley is the most casual name there is for a space them name, but behind this name is the most important well-known comet.
Nova and Nuna - Nuna is an Native American name for moon. I think it sides well with Nova, since both of these names start with N and has similar sounding.
Nova and Star - both of these names make me think of one word that are best described as and that is light.
Nova and Ascension - Ascension is all sci-fi, space, and spiritual themes. Asencion is the Spanish alternative and is very popular. Ascension is a word most used in the old days, but if your looking for a rare and unique name this is it.
Hope this helps! x
