My favorite name used to be Rebekah--spelt only this way. And for a while, my favorite combo was Amber Skylark.

My taste has changed a lot since then :)

Honestly, I don't remember.

What I remember is, when my mom was pregnant with my little sister seven years ago, I adored the named Giulia {prn. like Julia}.
I begged and begged my mom to name the baby that, but she wouldn't budge. Now, I am thankful she didn't.
While I still quite like the name, it is not even on my list anymore. And frankly, it's one of the most popular names in Italy, while the name she chose for my sister is more unique, just like mine and my other sister's.

Sally

Sally isn't silly...Its my sister's name. Though it is a bit old fashioned, it fits her. She is named after my mother's great-grandmother who played a big role in her life.

As for my names back in the day....

Girls I liked names that could be shortened to boys names...
Alexis Kate (Kate after me) nn Alex
Samantha nn Sam

For boys I used to like J names....James, Jacob, Jeremy, Jesse...

Mm. I don't really remember, but I had a bit of an obsession with the names Rose, Christa, Ariel, Deanna, Alissa, Ben, Thomas and Adam.
My names haven't changed too drastically to be honest.

I just have a much bigger list now! :)

When I was 16 my favorite names were Kianna, Mikayla, Kyla, Mercedes & I liked Xavier for a boy. I still like Xavier but the girls names are not my style at all anymore.

I used to love the names Justice and Brooklyn for a boy. When I was younger, I went to a summer camp with children of all ages and there was a little 4 year old boy named Justice and he was so adorable. I still love the name.

I used to name two of my Barbies the same two names: Brandy and Bridget. LoL

I also liked Joey and Teddi for girls for a long time, and I still like them, only as nicknames.

For boys I loved the names Diego and Bernardo (from Zorro! LOL)

I was CONVINCED I was going to name any future daughter of mine Dylan Crystal. I also liked Lissie (pronounced like it's spelled, not like Lizzie), Cameo, and names like Skyla and Rainy. I remember distinctly that I had a doll named Shoney and I was quite proud of myself for that name.
Honestly, I never really thought about boys names, because all my dolls and such were girls. Haha.

Until I was about nine, I was convinced that my kid's names would be: Laurie-Ann Elizabeth, Rowan Kimberley, Sienna Jennifer, and Bridgette Allison.
When I was five, I was obsessed with the name Blanca (idk if that even is a name :() after a shark I saw in a zoo.

I never really thought about boy names. I wasn't into guys

When I was younger, my favorite names were Juliette Elizabeth for a girl...only spelled "ette" never just "et" at the end and Patrick Ryan for a boy. haha, but I recenlty started liking traditional Irish names, hence my son's name, Oisin.

I always liked names that can have nicknames, and names that have boy nicknames in case she's a tomboy like I was. So Samantha, Alexandra,
Andrea, etc.

I also liked a few that I like now, like Sabrina, Simon, any name that can be shortened to Kate, and Wesley.

However I doubt I ever thought of my kids' actual names back then. Just hadn't encountered them maybe?

I knew that (I've been taking Spanish since I was six), I just didn't know if people use it as a name.

According to babynamesworld.com....

http://babynamesworl..._of_Blanca.html

It has been used as a girls first name since 1940s and was ranked its highest (#397) in 1990, since then it has seen a decline in popularity.
