Title says it all lol! I love Hattie, and Mike does like it. I adore old fashioned names but Mike likes very few, so its hard :( I think Hattie would fit our boys name so perfect! Hattie and Archer "Archie" :)

1. Is Hattie alone too much a nick name?
I love Harriet, Mike hates it. Hadley is okay but I dont love it with nick name Haddie (its just too close i think). Can Hattie stand alone?

2. Middle names?
Hattie Jade and Hattie Emily are both options cause those are ones Mike would love. Im iffy on Emily cause then all three of her names would end in the ee sound. But I'd love suggestions! Pretty please

Thanks so much ladies!!

I think Hattie works as a full name, and yes it would be super cute with Archer (Archie) & Linus!!! Since Mike doesn't like Harriet, Hattie can also used as a nickname for Henrietta.

I'm also not to sure about Hattie Emily E____ski. Does he like other forms of Emily? Like Emilia? Emmeline? Or maybe a cute double middle name like Emma Rae or Emma Rose or Emma Grace.

Hattie is a fabulous, old fashioned name! It can stand alone, no problem!

I think the flow with Jade and Emily is a bit off but with the right surname I'm sure it would sound great!

As for middle names, I had Hattie Lou - though I know most would argue it's a tad bit nickname-ish.

Archer and Hattie make an adorable sib-set!

Ahhh, Katie! Hattie, Archer (Archie), and Linus would be adorable!!!!

I know he doesn't like Emmeline, but he does like Amelia / Emilia :) Hattie Emilia would actually be darn adorable! Its definitely an option! :) I'd definitely love a double middle name! I don't think he's as much a fan, but if I found a good enough one I imagine he'd like it... Hattie Emma Rose would be sooo pretty <3

Isn't it fabulous, Emily? ^_^ I looove old fashioned... wish Mike did as much as I <3 I love Archer a lot because I can use Archie (Mike would never use just Archie... but Archer is modern and manly, so he says. Plus he's got the cartoon association lmao! I don't care, I got my Archie ;) ). I've actually been on a search for modern names with old fashioned nick names! Cause that seems to be the way to pull him in... lol. So sneaky here! B)

Hattie Lou is lovely, but I have to agree its pretty nick namey.

I love Hattie! But then again, I'm partial to H names ending in the "ee" sound... Hallie, Henry, Hayley, Harvey... the list goes on and on, haha! I'm debating myself over whether Hattie can stand alone or not. I like Harriet, but I just don't love it, which compels me to want to have only Hattie on my list. So I guess that while Hattie sounds more like a nickname, it could work as a full name. Hattie Emilia, Hattie Emma Rose, and Hattie Jade are all really lovely!

HATTIE IS MORE OF A FULL NAME TO ME! HATTIE JANE SOUNDS BETTER THAN HATTIE JADE OR HATTIE EMILY. I DON'T LIKE HATTIE EMILY BECZUSE THEY BOTH END IN AN "E" SOUND.

I think Hattie is a great name, and doesn't have to be a nickname. Not really a fan of the sound of Hattie Emily, but I think Hattie Emilia is very cute. Hattie Jade or even Hattie Jane sound nice too.

Hehehe, oh Meghan you really do have a pattern there! I like Hallie, Henry, and Haley as well actually ^_^ Wish Mike liked them too <3

I really like Hattie Jane! Jade is an honoring name though, and though they are close its just not the same to honor someone so indirectly. I don't know, I love her enough that I want to use her actual name.. even if I generally don't adore the name <3

I'm thinking Hattie Emilia might be it for now! not sure though <3

Thanks ladies!!
