Hey, guys!Today I found this very cool article about the stress of naming a baby:

http://online.wsj.co...=googlenews_wsj

Read it and post back your thoughts!

"People who understand branding know that when you pick the right name, you're giving your child a head start."

(best quote on unique names I've ever seen)

That was a really good article! I can understand baby name stress but my husband and I would never pay someone to find the "perfect name" for our son or daughter. It did take my whole pregnancy with my daughter to make her name final. I didn't have namers remorse it was more of "oh man is she going to like her name? What if she doesn't? What if she wants to change it?" etc etc. More about her well being with the name not mine. Naming a child is indeed stressful esp. when your family is the number one critic and give out names like candy. It does drive me crazy and I'm too nice to speak up to them so I guess I can unsderstand now going to an outside source for help like here or if your paying someone to do it. In the end it's a name there going to live with for the rest of there life so why not make it stick! :)

It was a very interesting and well researched article. I had never heard of Nymbler before, I put it to the test and it came up with some of my favorite names...I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for more name options, not exactly a problem that I've had.

It's a great article...and part of the fun of picking a name is that it is sort of stressful...that probably doesn't make any sense. All the stress of finding the perfect name makes the moment you find it all the better.

But I don't think I'll be naming my baby Nymbler.
