For the twins' 2nd birthday, we decide to let them each choose a pet.  They choose two sugar gliders, a male and a female named Oreo (male) and Nilla Wafer (female), named for the kids' favorite cookies. Shortly after the sugar gliders' adoptions, I win a Walt Disney World vacation package in a baking competition, so we all travel to Florida together and visit all the Disney parks there.

 

When our twins are 5, it's time for them to start Kindergarten.  Eli and I have been trying for another child for the last two years and are about to give up, but then we finally get pregnant.  This time, it's identical twin girls.  We name them Francesca Romilly and Susannah Elizabeth.  Both girls have brown hair and hazel eyes.

 

We have outgrown our home, so instead of moving, we renovate to add 3 new bedrooms and an extra bathroom (we originally had 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms), as well as expanding the kids' play room. 

 

A year later, Rowan and Remy are 6 and Francesca and Susannah are 1.  My older brother and his wife are killed in an accidental house fire, leaving behind their 4-year-old daughter Vivia Margaret "Viv", so we take her in and raise her as our own daughter.  She has red hair and brown eyes.

 

Our lives are happy for the next four years.  Eli and I are now 34, Rowan and Remy are 10, Vivia is 8, and Francesca and Susannah are 5.  Then, Eli and I divorce.  We have joint custody of the kids, and I remarry.  My new husband is Dmitri Feodor Russell, who was adopted from Russia as a baby.  He has blond hair and blue eyes.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Photography and owns a photography studio.

 

Four more years pass.  Rowan and Remy are 14 and about to start high school.  The kids have all been homeschooled up until now, but the boys look forward to going to the public high school near our house.  Vivia is 12 and in 7th grade, and Francesca and Susannah are 9 and in 4th grade.  We decide to take the kids on vacation before the summer ends.  We go to the Bahamas for two weeks and have a great time!

 

Two years later, Rowan and Remy are 16, Vivia is 14, and Francesca and Susannah are 11.  Dmitri and I are 40 years old and are surprised to find out that our family is about to grow again.  We hadn't planned it, but we're excited.  We have a daughter named Magdalena Hope "Maggie".  She is premature, so she is small but otherwise healthy.  She has brown hair and green eyes. 

 

Three years later, we adopt 7 pets, one for each child and one for Dmitri and me.  We adopt a male Guinea pig named George, 2 kittens named Angelica (female) and Oliver (male), 2 monkeys named Martin (male) and Hank (male), a parrot named Charlie (male), and a rabbit named Jake (male).

 

Another three years go by.  Dmitri and I are 46, Rowan and Remy are 22, Vivia is 20, Francesca and Susannah are 17, and Magdalena is 6.  Rowan and Remy graduate from college, Rowan with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Remy with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.  Rowan marries a fellow teacher named Courtney Jane Bryant, who has red hair and blue eyes, and they have a baby girl named Sage Katherine Greyson.  She has blond hair and blue eyes.  Remy marries hairdresser Erica Jade Wilson, who has black hair and hazel eyes.  They have twins, a boy and a girl named Reid Matthew and Gabriella Nicole.  Both twins have brown hair, but Reid has dark gray eyes and Melody has hazel eyes.

 

Fifteen years later, Dmitri and I are 61 and have recently retired.  We still live in Milwaukee and spend as much time as possible with our now adult children and their families.

 

Rowan and Courtney are 37, Sage is 15, and they have three more children: 12-year-old Harper Jane, 7-year-old Flynn Alexander, and 3-year-old Riley Belle.

Francesca is 32, is a stay-at-home mom, and is married to marine biologist Logan Michael Davis (33).  They have a son and a daughter, 4-year-old Adam Joshua and 5-month-old Tessa Caroline.

Susannah is 32.  She has a boyfriend named Colin Phillip Blakely (32) who works as a veterinarian like her, and they have a 1-year-old son named Caspian Robert "Ian".

Magdalena is 21.  She prefers to be single at the moment, and she has a Pug puppy named Percy.  She chose not to go to college and when I retired, she took over the catering/bakery business.

Lennon has just graduated from university with a degree in biochemistry and is stoked to find a new job at a local laboratory! After working their butt off for years to achieve top grades, they were accepted into an excellent lab. A dream come true! 

 

Not long after landing their job, they meet a beautiful girl through a coworkers friend.

Ginny had graduated from a local university with a degree in veterinary medicine. She had a job at a local zoo, as she specialized in exotic pets. Lennon and Ginny hit it off at the get together they'd met at and had exchanged numbers before leaving. They had started off taking it slow, as they were both busy with work and life. They soon began to have weekly dates, that turned into staying over, that turned into moving in together. 

 

A year after meeting, Lennon brings Ginny on a romantic date: a picnic on top a mountain they had hiked. They got down on one knee and proposed and Ginny said yes! 

 

They decided to have their wedding on Ginny's parents lawn. Ginny's parents had a large lawn that was used to large family get togethers, as Ginny's family was large and often spent time together. Lennon didn't have much family to bring but a handful of beloved friends. Their family and friends got together to help create a stunning wedding, though! Ginny's family was quick to welcome Lennon into the family and they had a perfect day. For their honeymoon, they spent a week at a bed and breakfast on a local beach and relaxed. 

 

Soon after the honeymoon, Lennon and Ginny decide to begin trying for their first child! They didn't expect to conceive too quickly, as they'd read a lot about folks who used home insemination kits and needed multiple cycles before conceiving. Surprisingly, it only took one cycle! Even more surprising was discovering Ginny was carrying twins! They were so excited to welcome twin girls Athena Reverie Gallagher and Guinevere Dove Gallagher. Thea had brunette hair and blue eyes while Gwen had red hair and gray eyes. 

 

Two years down the road, Ginny has been dying to adopt a pet bird. Birds are one of her favorite animals and she had always wanted one of her own. As girls were finally not infants anymore and they felt a little more ready, Lennon agreed it was time. They adopted a macaw, whom they named Rhubarb. 

 

In a bittersweet turn of events, Lennon inherits a large sum of money from their grandmother. Their grandmother had been one of the only people in their life to accept their identity and love them genuinely, so it was painful to lose someone so wonderful in their life. She'd been very elderly and unwell, so it wasn't unexpected but heartbreaking nonetheless. Lennon and Ginny agree to put it in their savings in case of emergency or until they find a specific need. 

 

Thea and Gwen are now five and about to start kindergarten. They had been trying for two years now, moving from home insemination kits to IVF. Lennon and Ginny were afraid that secondhand infertility may mean the end of growing their family but were eventually surprised with conceiving triplets! They were carrying a boy and two girls! Thea and Gwen were excited for their new baby siblings, Phineas Henry Gallagher, River Beatrice Gallagher, and Meadow Fable Gallagher. Phin had blond hair and gray eyes, Riv had red hair and green eyes, and Meadow had blond hair and blue eyes. 

 

With such a significant increase in kids, the house quickly felt too small! Thanks to the savings Lennon and Ginny had, they were able to get a mortgage for a wonderfully large home! The master bedroom was big enough to fit all three cribs inside properly, but they had another two rooms available that would be a shared for Meadow and River and one for Phin. Thea and Gwen had a room to share. They had a toy room and an office room. The basement was large enough for a relaxing atmosphere. They even had storage! And a large yard! 

 

A year later, a tragic event happens. One of Imogen's aunts and uncles are in a tragic car accident and pass away. After lots of discussion within the family, it was decided Ginny was the best fit to take her cousins in. As her family was all very close to one another, her cousins were comfortable going to her house and she was grateful to be able to them them in, despite the horrible circumstances. They welcomed 10 year old William Charles Gallagher, 7 year old Theodore Aidyn Gallagher, 4 year old Mabel Emilia Gallagher, and 2 year old August Vincent Gallagher. Will had black hair and gray eyes, Teddy had brunette hair and blue eyes, Mae had blond hair and blue eyes, and Gus had brunette hair and blue eyes. 

 

There was four years of just doing well in life before another misfortune strikes. Will becomes severely depressed and spends some time in the hospital to stay safe while he finds a med that'll work for him and work with therapists. It took some time but eventually he found the right medication for him and was coping better, so with a safety plan and a team of therapist and psych, Will was able to come home. Lennon and Ginny visited him as often as possible until he came home and did everything they could to help support him while he was struggling with his trauma. 

 

Another four years down the road, the summer before Thea and Gwen are to begin high school, Lennon and Imogen decide they are due a family vacation. Lennon had always dreamed of seeing the glow worm caves in New Zealand, so off they went! The family enjoyed lots of nature hikes in the relaxed, peaceful environment. It was the perfect place to bond as a family before preparing to start school. 

 

Two years down the road, Imogen and Lennon had decided to explore polyamory together. In an unexpected turn of events, their birth control failed and Ginny found herself pregnant. They hadn't planned on having more children but they're excited, none the less. They were relieved to discover it was a singleton pregnancy, though! They welcomed their final daughter, Persephone Hazel Gallagher. Posy had red hair just like her mum and hazel eyes. 

 

Three years later, Lennon and Ginny adopt another macaw and name her Pecan. Will is now 23 and in his sixth year of uni studying psychology, in hopes of getting a PhD to pursue childhood psychology. Teddy is now 20 and in his third year of uni working towards an art history degree. Thea and Gwen are now 19 and in their 2nd year of uni, with Thea studying to be a dietitian and Gwen getting her core classes done as she hasn't decided what career path she'll pursue yet. Mae is 17 and in her senior year of high school, Gus is 15 and in his sophomore year of highschool, Phin, Riv, and Meadow are 14 and in their freshmen year of highschool, and Posy is 3 and still at home.  

 

Three more years pass and life is going well! Will has completed his PhD and found his dream job! Teddy completed his degree and began a job that he loves, working in a museum. Thea and Gwen have graduated as well! Thea found a wonderful job within her dietitian field. Gwen ultimately decided to study ASL and has begun an interpretation job. Mae is in her third year of uni studying forensics. Gus has graduated high school but decided to take a gap year before pursuing university. He gets a part time job at a local grocery store, is committing to his therapy to help better himself and create healthier habits in his life, and spend time with loved ones. Phin, Riv, and Meadow are seniors in their high school. Posy has started first grade!

Many years down the road, Lennon has retired from working at the lab. Ginny cuts her work back significantly, as she finds it fulfilling but needs more time to rest and wants to spend her time with Lennon and her family. Rhubarb and Pecan are still healthy, happy birds. The kids have all grown and have beautiful lives. 

 

William marries a wonderful girl called Finella. They have three children together, Caoimhe, Maeve, and Riley. Finella is a stay at home mum to their children, all of which have beautiful red hair just like Will, Ginny, and their family.

Theodore finds a wonderful man through a friend at their work called Connor, and they fall in love and get married and have children as well! Teddy happily continues his career working within the museum while Connor decides to be the stay at home father for their children.

Guinevere finds an interpreting degree for ASL and loves it! While there, she meets a Deaf man at a function after her job was done and they hit it off. Elliott worked as a research scientist in oceanography and coastal sciences. They both had dreams of having a large family, both as Gwen loved being raised in one and Elliott had been an only child and had dreamed of being in a large family. They had kids Jasper, Cora, Hugo, Vi, Ozzie, Ben, and Bash.

Mabel works her butt off within her field of forensics and excels! She meets her husband, Jake, via online dating. They felt a connection pretty quickly but took their relationship slowly as they both were working so hard at their careers. with a forensics specialist in the field and Jake being a firefighter both being difficult careers. They ultimately fell in love, married, and had children.

August met a girl called Emily while he was volunteering at a local animal shelter and at first they became friends, then friends with benefits, then she unexpectedly fell pregnant. They had remained friends with benefits with August being heavily involved in caring for Emily during the pregnancy and being an involved father after their daughter Hazel was born. Eventually, Gus and Em fell in love and got married. Emily was a college professor and loved it, while Gus was working in a generally unfulfilling career solely for the paycheck, so after they married Gus stayed home as a stay at home dad instead of paying for daycare. Gus found he loved being a stay at home parent, though! He was very artsy and craftsy, enjoyed all sorts of fun and educational activities with the kids, etc.
