I have fallen in love with the name Soleil! It's the French word for sun and I was wondering what you ladies thought of it! I'm also having trouble deciding whether I like it more on a boy or girl or just stick it as a unisex name. It looks masculine to me but sounds like it could be feminine with the ending sound it has but the beginning sounds rather masculine to me. WDYT ladies!?
Soleil? WDYT?

I discovered Soleil probably about a year ago, and I've liked it ever since. Not enough to use personally, but I think it's a really beautiful name!(:
I've only ever though of it as for a girl. It really doesn't strike me as masculine. Just my opinion.

I had Soleil on my list when I was younger, I thought it was gorgeous. All feminine, though. Now I don't care for it. It does have cool associations though! Like Circe De Soleil!

I think Soleil is very pretty and enough people (adults at least) should be familiar enough with it that it wouldn't pose many pronunciation issues. Personally I find it a feminine name.

I just want to throw out there that I love Soleil for a girl. I can't see on a boy though
