I am not usually a fan of unisex names. I've always felt that a teacher should be able to look at the class roster, read a name, and know the child's gender. That is...until I read Finley.
It has the masculine sounding "Fin" at the beginning and the very feminine (in my opinion) "ley" sound at the end.
Until now, I never thought there was a true unisex name because I am (most times) automatically pulled to one gender or the other. So what do you think?
Is Finley a boy or girl name?

I've only heard it on boys. I can't really picture it on a girl.

It's actually the only name for me as well where I don't pull towards boy or girl, I think it's pretty neutral. Not a fan of the name, though. I like Finn, though

I can see it used on either a boy or a girl. I usually like it more as a middle name, but the nickname Finn is definitely cute!

I would use it on a boy personally, but it could be used for a girl.

I see it as more masculine, due to the "Fin" at the beginning.

I feel it to be 100% masculine, sorry! But I also find "lee" names to be masculine as well. They can be used femininely but they are originally boy to me And Finn is entirely boy in my mind so the mix feels just as manly as Thomas or Benjamin would.
