So, my first baby, was a boy. We named him Lincoln Thomas Scott Dykstra (Thomas, after my husband AND my husband's dad) (Scott after my dad)
Now, he's 17.5 months old and I'm 7 months pregnant with our second! We never found out the sex for either pregnancy, so we dont know what we're having...but, we've stuck with our girls name we had chosen the first round with Lincoln...but now that we've used out boys names...we're stuck!
Sooo. We're kinda picky. I don't like super weird names for boys...girls I find can have some edge and coolness. I need a name that you KNOW how to
1. spell/say/pronounce it
2. not an overused name
3. know if its a boy or a girl (no gender neutral names!)
4. have a short form that is acceptable to me (I don't like names like Andrew that get changed to Andy!)
Some names we've pondered.
Grayden (Gray or Grady for short)
Kaden (Kade for short)
Everett (who knows a nickname?)
Rowan (again...nickname?)
And as for middle names...I was thinking of sticking with family names (kinda like we did with Lincoln) but using last names or versions of them!?!
Andersen (Thomas's mom's maiden name)
Jay (my Nanny's maiden name)
Bryant (my Gramma's maiden name)
Jace (example of a version of Jay that we'd use!!)
Any awesome names or ideas for nicknames for the above first names would be great!!! Thanks!!
2nd boys name...

I like the name Everett, nn idea would be Rett (like Rhett Butler) or maybe Ever (maybe too unisex?)
I think Everett & Lincoln would make a nice sib set.
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Bryant Anders (from Andersen)
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Andersen Bryant
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Jaymes Andersen (from Jay) - this combo also ends in same letters as Lincoln
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Jay Andersen
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Jaycob Andersen
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Jaycob Anders
Lincoln Thomas Scott & Everett Jay Bryant
More FN ideas...
Dexter nn Dex
Wesley nn Wes
Broderick nn Brody, Rick...
Bennett nn Ben
Davis
Maxwell
Tucker nn Tuck
Spencer nn Spence
Edison nn Ed, Eddie
Johnson nn John, Johnny
Coleman nn Cole
Whitman nn Whit
Colton nn Colt, Cole
