Beylin Tenley Zimmerman (17) is Hailey's best friend. A widow, her grown children couldn't balance caring for her with their busy lives, despite her being in fairly good health, and put her in Bethesda. Upon hearing this, Lindsey immediately felt sorry for her and set out to become the woman's friend. Now, Lindsey is like a daughter to Betty. Lindsey's children call Betty "Boo" and visit her often with their Momma.
