My husband's family has a tradition where the boys receive two middle names. All of his uncles and his dad have that tradition. I think even some of his cousins have it too. However, my MIL didn't follow the tradition. I really love the first name Theo and the double middle name is "Hammond". (The second middle name is Hammond so my hubby would have been C.T.H.
. Do you think it would be too much? Also, do you think my MIL would be offended for using "Hammond"? My friend thinks I should use it because it is honoring my FIL (who I haven't always gotten along with, and while that is not a main factor, it would be a nice gesture and maybe continue healing our relationship). I have two names I'm thinking:
Theo Asher Hammond [Asher means Joy/blessed/happy (after my mother who passed)]
Theo Mark Hammond (Mark is my dad)
