I was talking to my friend (Dustin Ernest) tonight (3:33am my time)...We were throw songs at each other, one of which was Kenny Chesney's There Goes My Life. I said it reminded me of my mother (she had my brother at 18 completely unplanned). Our conversation turned to children...asking how many each wanted (I said at least 2, he said 2 or 3). The conversation then turned to names essentially what we wanted to name our kids:
I said, "Nathan for a boy, and Callie or Cambrie for a girl"
He said, "Angelina for a girl and maybe Riley for a boy." He also said he kinda likes Callie over Cambrie. And that the names i said were very cute.


So what do you think?

Nathan is one of my favorite boys names

I prefer Callie over Cambrie... Callie reminds me of 'California' Very Pretty!

Angelina isnt my style however.. it reminds me of the show 'Angelina Ballerina' [or maybe I spend too much time with my nieces ]

Riley is another favorite boys name of mine! Loooove..

Nathans handsome... the name of my older brother haha.

Angelina is okay... not my style lol. I have a friend named Angelique actually.

I do prefer Callie to Cambrie personally

And I love Riley on a boy! It's on my list as a middle name currently, Cassius Riley


You both have fine tastes in names!! I don't know why, but I always think its adorable when boys talk names Idk, it's so cute and awkward to me haha! :') Or maybe I'm just craazy

I love Nathan & Cambrie but I'm biased because Nathan is my fiance and my sister is Cambrie

I love the name Riley (for a girl) but its gotten to popular for me

I'm not a fan of any name with "Angel" in it, but only because everyone I know with Angel in their name are no Angels

My list is extremely long but since we were talking about naming a child i had one or two i wanna use.

I was talking to my friend Bree, about names the other week... I sent her my list and asked her what her favorite name was.. but she told me she wasnt sure... 'Apparently my list is soo long that I obviously have too much time on my hands'
But its nice to talk names... generally with someone who is also interested.

Mmm, it is really funny how one can start conversations about names! I was watching TV with Mike and a little boy wanted to play baseball with his dad who never could and all. So then mikes like "When I grow up and have a kiddo or so, I'm gunna name his Jayson and I would totally play baseball with him all the time nad bring him to practices and all, as long as thats what he'd like." And I thought it was adorable, and started minor talk. Or when I was feeling ill in my tum tum I sat in the garage with its door open and stared at my mums car for a while and mike sat next to me and said "I think four kids is too much", cause he was staring at mums lisence plate which mentions her having four kids haha. And we're just like "Yeah, two or three" "Exactly" "And I'd definitely have my little girl named Maeve." "And a little boy named Jayson?" "Yupp! Jayson Hunter?" "Sure! I like that!" and so on and so fourth hahah! <3

But your list almost looks as long as mine I love a lot of the names!!!

True true Me and my bff Kai Kai (Kyle) talk about names sometimes, but its not surprising cause he talks about everything with me (he's like, that gay bff that you'd see on TV or something- I love him so much!) But I don't have many other friends, so yeah haha.

But thats cute! I like Jayson and all, though not half as much as I love the name Eli <3 So I don't know, hopefully when the time comes he'll love Eli as much as I do

Well, funny part of this topic now is that Dustin (the guy that sparked this topic) is now my boyfriend. (:

I told him one night of the pact i made with a couple friends years ago. A friend had passed away and we all decided that if we got a girl Jasmine would be somewhere in the name. Then he tells me that he wants to use his dad's name for a boy (David Ernest). So now its if we have a girl Jasmine is in the name and if we get a boy (in the future) he gets a David Ernest. LOL!
