I can't decide which one I prefer, just plain Sophie or elegant and "more full" Sophia. I might even just use Sophie as a nick name for Sophia, but I don't know. Opinions?

And for the "em" names.. I love Em, or Emmy as nick names. Or even Emma. Emma is the main one I like. But with the others I can use Emma as a nick name. Which do you like best? I do not like Emerson, as that is all boy to me. But I am always open to options. Plus, middle names. I have thought of Emma Scarlett or Emma Shiloh or Emma Lark. But I no longer want them... thanks :(

I love the names Alexandra and Zoey as of lately, well, as of a while. But I feel awkward liking them seeing as I have family named with those names. A close cousin has middle name Alexandra, and a more distant cousin is Zoey (and I have a kinda close uncle with a dog named Zoe). So do you think it's too awkward to use them? For Alexandra, I almost feel like I love it because of my cousin. But that isn't a biggy, cause I suppose I can honor a cousin in using the name if I really love it (and I do really love her)? I don't know. I need a fn/mn for Zoey, cousins name is Zoey Makenna so I cannot use that. Alexandra... I was thinking of Taylor Alexandra, but I'm currently unsure.

And these are some names I really love but can't find fn/mn's I like for them

Juliet
Olivia
Grier
Rosie
Leo
Finn
Crispin

Thank you SOOO much for all input!!!! I am happy with all the help I can get! :) Again, thanks!!!!!

id much perfer sophie and emma. i dont think names need to be long to to have substance and sound storng. sophia is used by every 3rd person at the moment! sophie sounds more gentle to me  (my 2nd couzin is sophia and she is a terror!) i also think as a twin set sophie and emma compliment perfectly.

as for alexandra and zoey, i think as long as your not either in the same house or see them every single day its fine to use those names. my friends and i already know if we use eachothers names it wont stop us from using them too! i liketaylor as first or mid for alexandra. zoey i find to be a bit harsh so i think it needs a soft mid/first to compliment.

hehe crispin?! he would nick as crispy! (my friends last name is crisp and everyone knows his as crispy, i also know a chris parker who is now known as chrispy) so as long as your ok with that. i think it would need a traditional mid ie crispin alexander to counter act.

I love, love, looove Sophia and you could always call her Sophie for short. [At least thats what I plan on doing in the future :)]

Emmy and Em are my favorite nicknames. Emmeline is beautiful. Emmeline Scarlett =

I think that your cousin having Alexandra as a middle name isnt a problem you could even use it to honor her.
Zoey is a lovely name, but it depends whether or not you would feel uncomfortable calling your future daughter Zoey.
She is a distant cousin.. so.. plus again you could honor.
My Aunty has a dog named Lilly, but I still want to use the name Lily so :(

Taylor Alexandra is adorable.
Sophia Zoey would be nice.
Maybe even Zoey Juliet or Zoey Olivia.

Thanks Tara! Sophia nick name Sophie I'm thinking is a definite. Might as well get both in use! And Emmeline nick name Emmy is just so sweet <3 [even if my aunties chicken is named Emmeline! :P ].

Mmmm, I agree Brittany. That a name doesn't have to be long and have substance and all to be strong. I'm wicked on the fence about Emma/Emmeline/Emily. Though for Sophia, even though every other person is using it, its much to close to Sophie anyways for it to make a difference in popularity at all. Hehe, Sophie and Emma would be a perfect twin set... but I am pretty sure I will never ever have twins in my life lol! They do not run in my family at all, so yeah.. though they do make an adorable sib set in general! Hmm... <3

I don't see either of them very often, so it does work. I'm much not that close to Zoey especially. So yeahh... Haha, my friends all say they don't want kiddo's :oO But thats okay, because one of my friends is going to be the crazy aunt and they both would mooch off of my kiddos! lol! Mmm, Zoey would need a softer name to compliment it <3 I think I like Taylor and Alexandra together <3 Idk if I want Alexandra as more of a first name or middle name though... though I doubt I'll use Alexandra :/ I do have Alexander on my list, and he'd come first :( Idk!

I know, I know! When I first saw Crispin, I think it was from Heather? The first thing on my mind was "Crispy Chicken?" But now I like it!!! Though, when I say it out loud, it sounds like crizz, pin, and I don't automatically think crispy lol. Maybe it will remain a guilty pleasure....

And Ash, totally agree <3 I am now like, totally set on Sophie as a nick name for Sophia. I'd get to use two in one! OoOo, Emmeline Scarlett.. <3333 The more I think about it, I'm unsure about Zoey... Though Zoey Olivia would be quite lovely <3 Hmmmm! Lol, I suppose it really isn't a big deal if an animal has the same name as the kiddo you'd name lol. Cause Emma is my aunts cats name [if Alex was a girl she wanted to name her Emma so instead she used it on a kitty :P ]. And that doesn't bother me. Just the chicken and dog lolol! Sophia Zoey would actually be super nice!

Thanks so much, guys! Of the other names above, what do you think of the middle names I've come up with? [With help of the name generator! :P ]
Rosie Cadence
Rosie Lucille
Rosie Mariah
Rosie Harper
Rosie Anneliese
Olivia Grier
Olivia Seraphina [mouthful?]
Olivia Juliet [too much of a mouthful as well?]
Olivia Celina
Olivia Joanna
Elle Juliet
Ellie Juliet
Roxanne Juliet
Alana Juliet
Eleanor Juliet
Ava Juliet
Eleanor Grier
Ava Grier
Emma Grier
Emmeline Grier
Emily Grier
Willow Grier

Haven't found any for the boys yet. But yeah. WDYT?

Thanks so much, Tara, Brittany and Ash!!! <3 And Thanks in advance to anyone else who may have some input!

Most people don't like Grier either! Interestingly, I found Grier on the name polls. Someone said they were having twins and wanted to name then Grier and Brier :P

Anyways, I love it as a middle name! Emmeline Grier is gorgeous, and I do love Willow Grier! Holly Grier is nice, though Holly is too christmasy for me<3

Elle does sound so commanding! It sounds like just L, but I love it anyways. I had Elle Taylor on my list for the longest time... not sure why I dropped it ;) And I am becoming more fond of Alana Juliet, though the flow seems a tad off :L

Olivia Seraphina is extremely long haha. Olivia Juliet is still a bit of a mouthful though... Harper Rose would fit better, maybe. Though the two R's together clash and I don't like Rose as a middle name. Its much too much like a filler name.. just there because :L Hmm!

Ava Juliet and Ava Grier <3 Decisions! But yaya, I do love Grier! Not sure if I'd ever really use it, but it remains on the list :) I do like the spelling Greer, never made me think of Beer haha. But I just think Grier looks a bit more frilly and pretty, because it is quite a strong name! :)

Sorry about how long it took for me to respond! <3

Rosie Cadence - Like
Rosie Lucille - I would like Rosie Cecilia more
Rosie Mariah - Makes me think of Mariah Carey *shudders*
Rosie Harper - I think of Harper as a last name. It would look like 2 last names.
Rosie Anneliese - Nice flow
Olivia Grier - I like Grier but not with Olivia..sounds too blunt.
Olivia Seraphina [mouthful?] - If you had a short last name it would work.
Olivia Juliet [too much of a mouthful as well?] -Not together...just sounds off.
Olivia Celina - Lot of the A sound
Olivia Joanna - Same as above
Elle Juliet - Sounds like a French phrase
Ellie Juliet - I see Ellie and I want to say Ellie Mae for some reason.
Roxanne Juliet - I think Roxanne is like Veronica...so hard to find a MN to go with it
Alana Juliet - Like!
Eleanor Juliet - Very classic
Ava Juliet - Love
Eleanor Grier - Like
Ava Grier - Like
Emma Grier - Like
Emmeline Grier - Like
Emily Grier - Like
Willow Grier - Love
