I recently saw the name Whitley, and instantly loved it.

What do y'all think of it? Do you like it better for a boy or girl?

I kind of prefer it on a boy I think. And now that I think about it Alexander Whitley sounds pretty awesome.

I don't care for it. There was a female character called Whitley on the show 'A Different World'. She is who I think of when I hear the name.

I like it for a boy...though I kinda prefer Whitman (boy) or Whitney (both) over Whitley. Alexander Whitley or Alexander Whitney both sound great!

I see it and I want to say Whitney. Also it makes me think of the word twit but that is probably just me.

Is it pronounced like Wit-lee or White-lee? Either way don't care for it. Makes me think dim wit.
