Anyway just thought I'd share this...Maddie said that if she and Charlie ever had another girl they'd probably name her Holly, which was the only other name they both liked when they were thinking of names for Luci but Maddie liked Luci better. I think okay, not one of my favorites but not bad. Then she says but I'd spell it with an I like Luci...

Luci and Holli !!!! UHHHHHH!!!!

Me and Sally were talking about it later and I told her that I thought Luci and Molly would make a cute sib set (plus since Lucy was the name of one of our dogs, I thought that Molly, also being the name of one of our dogs would fit nicely)...then Sally of course had to point out that Maddie would spell it Molli !!!!

I guess I just can't win.

If she did ever have another girl, maybe try talking her into Hollie or Mollie. It would still be a cute sib set.

I suppose I may just be a big fan of traditional spellings, but I greatly dislike Holli or Molli! Or even Hollie and Mollie! Though the E certainly adds a little bit more... fullness and all to it! But, on the other hand, it doesn't bother me too much. Seeing as she could be naming her kiddo Kayleighalynne or Hevynly Gyft or something :) So I try not to stress over a tad bit of a different spellling hehe!

LOL.
I dislike Holli, & love Holly. :)

Love Ashleigh's idea of getting her to use Hollie. It's a little more common.
Maddie does seem to like names that end in 'I' though.. so maybe suggest common names that end in an 'I' [then again, I cant think of any!]

What about Tori? It already ends in an I and it's pretty common. Oh and Lori!

I was actually thinking of suggesting Mali pron. "Molly" though I could see it being mispronounced a lot.

I think Luci & Mali would be cuter than Luci & Molli.

I think its more that she likes the idea of making it different and she thought that Luci looked more modern and less grandma-ey than Lucy.
