Ooh...like that name. I would say go for it. My only concern is that the consonants might bleed together when she introduces herself as maiamark. Think a little bit...are you only a little sad to see Maia go? But if it's your favorite, do it! I think Maia Mark is a fine name.

I think Maia Mark works great! It might blend together a bit, but if you're okay with that, then it'll be fine. Another option is to give her a long name with Maia as a nickname - Amaiah, Mariah, etc.

Maia Elizabeth is a gorgeous name! One of my favorites and it works well with your last name. I love that spelling of Maia too. It's different but still very sophisticated and I personally think it looks a little better than Maya and much nicer than Mya/Myah too (which I don't like at all. lol).

I find first and last names that start with the same letter - Maia Mark, Susan Sarandon, Marilyn Monroe, and Rebecca Romijn, to name a few - are striking and memorable in a good way.
There are hurdles with every name; I wouldn't sweat this one. Maia Elizabeth Mark is a gorgeous name that will age well and suit her well no matter who she grows up to be.
