I am writing a fic that involves a couple taking in a sibling group. Depending on the number of kids I have a few different ways for the story to go. Now my question is how many kids. I want at least six, for which I have names: Auggie, Avery, Noah, Jacob, Sophie, and Arabella. I don't think I want to go over ten kids.
What number do you think is best: 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10?
I had originally picked six so the whole family could get around in one vehicle. I'm not against them needing two vehicles, but I am against twelve or fifteen passenger vans. This is important to a part of the story.
I'm also open to suggestions for names for the other possible kids if you like a higher number.
Thanks in advance.
How many...

I think six is manageable. Seven wouldn't be too bad, but I wouldn't go more than seven myself. You also don't want to confuse the reader or cause character overload with too many kids.
I think the names you have go well together. I was wondering...is Avery a boy or girl?
