I have a character that is sort of like a modern day princess/queen in a tower. She was a successful and extremely beautiful woman who, mostly out of other's jealousy, was horribly singled out and persecuted and shunned by both her family and community through no fault of her own and lost everybody she loved, including her only child. She finally took ill and has since become a complete recluse, still very attractive at about 45 years of age, but seldom seen except by the few who love and take care of her. Oh, she has blonde hair and is thin and tall.
I've thought of Isabelle, Sophia, Leila, Ava, Eva, Diana.... What do you think? All suggestions are welcome!

I like Leila. But I feel like a real exotic version of that name would work well. Leora is less common, maybe that? I also liket he suggestions of Mila and Mira. I wouuld like Sofia spelled liket his for some reason. and Ava isn't bad. Ialso would like Aveline.

I think Leah, Leilah, or Sofia are really nice for the character your trying to create.

Well... Regina is a name that means "Queen". Also, I think Sarita means "Princess".

I instantly thought of Arabella, although I'll be using it for my modern day princess novel. Although you are most welcome to it! I would say don't use any form of Isabell/Isabella. It's way over used (especially with Twilight so big right now).
