Hello, everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on BNG. Life's been crazy, as usual. :P  I hope everyone's doing okay! :)

I haven't mentioned on here before, I don't think, but my best friend since elementary school is expecting her first child! The baby is due next month, May 12 and it's a boy! :D  She has pretty much picked the name (she said she's about 95% sure) and I was just wondering what you all thought of it!

She has decided on...

Jaxon Warren

Jaxon is just a name she likes, there's no significance or meaning, but Warren is after the baby's father's grandfather. Warren was his middle name.

She doesn't know I'm asking for opinions on here. She knows I'm name obsessed but not so name obsessed that I've belonged to a name forum for 6 years. ^_^

So what do you think?

Personally, I like the combo. Jaxon is a nice name, however it's soooooo popular, especially where I'm from. I know about 5 baby boys under 5 named Jaxon/Jackson!  :o  Other than popularity I don't have an issue with the first name. I don't mind Warren either. It's not my style, but I like that it's named after someone important to the parents. I think the combo has a nice ring to it and I am so excited for my best friend to be a mom.

Congrats to her!

I don't like the Jaxon spelling of Jackson, but I like the name. Jaxon Warren doesn't have the best flow but I like it ok. I like that Warren honors, and I think it adds character to Jaxon.

Eh, it's not really my style. Jackson is a very popular name; it was the number 1 baby name in 2013. And I'm not fond of the spelling that she chose. Other than that, the name itself is handsome. I just think the flow of the combination is a bit off since both names end with the same sound.

I think Jackson is super handsome, though sooooo popular as is Jack alone! I don't care for the spelling Jaxon but its still a nice name. I think Warren is really sweet and I love the meaning behind it.

She gets a thumbs up  ;)  B)

The flow is okay, but I love the two names!
