I'm writing a short story for my English class and I need a name for the woman. She's young (20 -25), with curly brown hair. She doesn't exactly come from money, but she has very expensive tastes. A bit spoiled and conceited at times, but overall kind. Her male counterpart is named James. Any thoughts?

Ah, I forgot to add that she's quite vain. That might help. :]

I think Edie is a good match, but I hate Edith. D: The story doesn't necessitate full names, though, being a short story and all. I think her name will be Edie until further notice :]

If you don't mind some more suggestions, I think Vanessa would be a good name for her. Also Mariah, Hayley, Jenna.

AND, I of course love thinking of baby names even though that is a VERY far in the future thing for me because I'm still young!

if taking anymore, I would suggest Kayleigh, Holly, or Maria.

Hey guys, I did go with Edie. I submitted the story a while back and forgot about this topic. Thanks for all the suggestions, however! :)

You could use the very over used Kate
James and Kate go well together
Or what about Robin, Grace, Amy, Trisha, or Heather
