I was thinking of flower names on girls, and there are a couple that I like. Which is/are your favorite(s)? Mine are Rose, Violet, and Lily. Which do you think is prettiest out of those three?
I don't like flower names at all,but Lily would be my choice from your list

Out of your choices, I like Violet the best, I would even use it myself. Rose and Lily are names of family members, so I probably wouldn't use those, though I do think they are very pretty names. I also like:
Amaryllis
Bryony - didn't realize this was a plant name!

I adore Rosa! I think it's a more than valid alternative to the ever-present Rose; also, the a ending gives it a more complete sound, which makes it more suitable as a first name in my opinion.
Plus it's the name of one of my best friend -- beautiful associations never hurt!
I also love Violet & Viola [Italian alternative], Dahlia and Iris.
Laurel is also becoming a fast favourite!

Daphne is Greek for Laurel, I think I like it better because it won't be confused with LaurenLaurel is also becoming a fast favourite!

My favorite plant/flower/nature name though would be...

@Mariel: Yes, you're right, Daphne is beautiful and a name I'd use if I ever had a daughter right now. I'd forgotten it means Laurel, actually
