I've asked about Katniss before as a usable name. It's very iffy. Though I would still be tempted to use it. But what about Everdeen? Do you believe this name would be usable? Everdeen nn Ever? I can see it for an animal, perhaps, but for a human? Any good middle names?

I really can't see Everdeen as a name... now, I can see twins, boy and girl being named something like Ever Katherine and Dean Michael

I really like it :)

Ever since I discovered that Everdine is a Dutch name used for girls it has become a guilty pleasure name. I also prefer this spelling, I think it makes it a bit more feminine. I think Everdine sounds like a modern take on an old fashioned, southern name (names ending in the -een/ean sound being quite popular in the south...Barbara Jean, Earleen, Doreen, Kathleen). Plus I think the nn Ever (or even Everdee?) is super cute and very wearable on a girl.
