Hi, my husband and I LOVE the name Abra Elizabeth (Abby for short). What do you guys think of this name?

Generally speaking, I don't see the point of a nickname that has the same number of letters and syllables as the "full name." Also, Elizabeth is such a common middle name, I wouldn't use it unless you're honoring someone. Otherwise it might sound cliché. Here are some other names that work with Abby as the middle name:
Abilene
Abigail
Gabrielle/Gabriella
Tabitha
Alberta

To be honest, Abra reminds me of Pokemon, and I didn't play it. I much prefer Alba Elizabeth, and you could still call her Abby if you want to.

Why not just name her Abby? Abby Elizabeth is very pretty.

When I see Abra, I automatically want to say Cadabra! I think Abby Elizabeth on its own is nice
