Late last night / early this morning we were discussing names. And I asked for his option. Some of the names had "paragraphs" of ideas which i had narrowed down. I had maybe 10 per name and these are the ones he liked to do with our short list.

For Boys:
Alexander Lucas
David Ernest (boyfriend's dad's name although would honor him, his dad and grandfather)
Dustin Ernest (boyfriend's name but would honor him, his dad and grandfather)

Which middle name for these?
Jackson David, James, Jacob, Robert, Reid, Ryan, Thomas, Xavier
Jason Bradley, Daniel, David, James, Lucas, Paul, Patrick, Thomas
Nathan Alexander, Edward, Grant, Thomas
Philip Henry, Thomas
Vincent Paul, Reid, Raymond
William Jackson, Julian, Rhys, Reid

For Girls:
Jasmine Marie (Jasmine honors a friend who passed in 2003 and Marie is mine, my mom, and my grandma middle names)

Which middle name for this?
Aspen Brooke, Jade

Any suggestions for:
Elyse
Jessica Elyse (although I do prefer Jessa and Elyse is the only middle name idea we came up with)

TIA

Alexander Lucas - Very handsome combo!
David Ernest - I like the fact that it honors family.
Dustin Ernest - Unique twist on David, nice, though Dustin isn't my style.

I've bolded the middle names I like best:

Jackson Robert
Jason Bradley
Nathan Thomas
Philip Henry
Vincent Paul
William Reid

Jasmine Marie - Very pretty name. That's sweet that it honors your friend and family.

Aspen Jade

Jessica Elyse - Iike Jessa Elyse a little better than Jessica Elyse.

Bridget Elyse
Bethany Elyse
Kendall Elyse
Margaret Elyse
Abigail Elyse
Caroline Elyse
Holly Elyse
Shannon Elyse
Violet Elyse
Kathryn Elyse
Hannah Elyse
Whitney Elyse
Amber Elyse
Caitlyn Elyse
Juliet Elyse

Alexander Lucas is very handsome and so manly! David and Dustin Ernest are both handsome! I think since Dustin is what you call your boyfriend, it'd be far to confusing to use it. Its nice to honor and all, but whats happened to my grandfather is both of them have the same exact name, Richard [last name], so anytime people call they ask for either Richard or Mr. [last name], and no one ever knows which they mean. Or mail.. anytime mail is addressed to either of them its confusing. Just the experience they have had to keep in mind :) Unless you use Jr. That differentiates it better.

I wanted to at least start a post tonight, but I'll definitely finish up on my spare time! I'm a bit tired, just spent the past 11 hours either on a plane or waiting in the airport to get on a plane :/ bleck lol. Hope this little bit helps though haha. I'll be back!

@Remy - actually if we used Dustin, it'd be Dustin Ernest Jr and probably call him DJ.

Aww DJ is cute!!! :)

I like these ones best for you boys!
Jackson David || Jackson Robert || Jackson Thomas
Jason Bradley || Jason Paul || Jason Thomas
Nathan Alexander || Nathan Grant
Philip Henry
Vincent Paul || Vincent Reid
William Jackson || William Rhys

I like Jasmine Marie!! I may not be a fan of either name particularly, but I am a fan of honoring names<3

And for the girls name, both middle names sound nice. Aspen Brooke sounds most lovely to me, though super natural hehe <3 Aspen Jade is very nice as well, but I prefer Brooke I think.

Middle names for Elyse?

Elyse Brynn
Elyse Penelope
Elyse Natalia
Elyse Ariella
Elyse Cadence
Elyse Vivienne
Elyse Hanna
Elyse Danielle
Elyse Harlow
Elyse Gemma
Elyse Pamela
Elyse Cambrie
Elyse Norah
Elyse Genevieve
Elyse Jade
Elyse Leila
Elyse Cate
Elyse Tamara
Elyse Rhiannon
Elyse Faye
Elyse Fern
Elyse Charlotte
Elyse Brittany

WDYT? Do these help? I'm not entirely sure what style of names you prefer, so I suggested quite the variety :) Just let me know and I can suggest more!

@Meghan - I like these: Elyse Kathryn (I prefer K spellings of Katherine for first names and C spellings of Katherine for middle names)
Elyse Victoria
Elyse Miranda (Miranda is one of my nieces names)
Elyse Rebecca
Elyse Marilyn
Elyse Julianna (Julianna is a cousins name; altho its also a variant of my great-great grandmothers name as well)
Elyse Brooklyn
Elyse Noelle
Elyse Penelope (I like select P names but I find some dont flow very well with the "P" surname).
Elyse Gwendolyn
Elyse Cameron
Elyse Cassandra

@Remy - I like these: Elyse Brynn
Elyse Penelope (see above)
Elyse Natalia
Elyse Ariella
Elyse Hanna
Elyse Danielle
Elyse Gemma
Elyse Cambrie
Elyse Norah
Elyse Genevieve
Elyse Jade
Elyse Leila
Elyse Cate (I prefer Kate but I like the flow of this)
Elyse Tamara
Elyse Faye
Elyse Charlotte
Elyse Brittany
Also, I like names that are typically easy to pronounce because some of my family members have difficult pronouncing things. And we are trying to avoid initials that spell things that might be bad or remind us of something. For example, we dont like "C" middle names for J names because its JCP and thats reminds us of JCPenney (store).
