BF has chosen "roger" as a first name after his deceased uncle... I'm not crazy about the name but am willing to work with it... Any suggestions on how I can shorten this... suggestions on middle names ??????? TIA

I know a Roger Ivan.

Roger Thomas is one I know of. He's my coworker.
At work, we call him Rogue just because the first three letters are the same for both. But at home, his wife calls him Rog.

If at all possible get him to use Roger as the mn!!!!

I would do Roger as a middle name....or change it to Rogue
