What do you think about the name Maverick on a girl? I know it sounds's crazy but I was just thinking of it. With the nickname Maeve?

I'm not a big fan of the name Maverick for either gender, sorry! I just don't like the connotations the word carries. I do adore Maeve

What are some middle names you'd pair with Clementine and Marigold?

I like Clementine Mae/Maeve and Marigold Cecilia.

Clementine is one I fell in love with last month and Marigold recently, they both are such springy and girl names, they need ones that have a balance of girly and won't have a repetitive sound in the name, all the while still being a classic, traditional name.

I love Clementine Eloise and Marigold Quinn! Thank you!

(Funny thing is, I know of a sweet Clementine Eloise ^^)

I like Clementine Joy and Clementine Faye, but I like Mae/Maeve best.

And on their own, I like Dawn and Molly, but more for dogs.

I also love Ever and Piper, but I don't like names that have 'R' for Marigold. And on their own

I like Helen, Nora and Harper. :)

Clementine Eloise and Marigold Quinn were ones that I liked as well. I'm glad you liked so many names, even if you didn't like them in the combos.

What are your thoughts on Maude? I've been really loving it for a while now, but I worry about how clunky it sounds, and whether it's really ready for a comeback.

I adore Maude! I think it's definitely vintage but very sweet and the nickname Maudie is so cute. I totally could see it coming back into fashion even though it's a little more clunky.

I have liked Maude ever since seeing the Suffragette movie. I think if paired with a more modern-sounding middle, it is definitely ready for a comeback.

I like it! A sweet classic underused name! And I agree with Addison, paired with a modern middle name or even a popular classic name, it'd

be lovely and I think it could make a comeback :)

My best friend and I have been like sisters since 5th grade, and have always thought we would be "aunts" to each other's children in the distant future. We never thought of using each others names until on the same night we both had a dream that we were pregnant and used the other's name as a middle. I was wondering if anybody had any names they think go well with the middle name "Gabrielle?"

To give you a sense of my style, a few of my favorites are:

Piper Gabrielle (the name from the dream as Piper has been a long time favorite)

Victoria Gabrielle

Amelia Gabrielle

Cora Gabrielle

Edith Gabrielle

Aurora Gabrielle

I would add more to your list but I'm not great at adding to lists.

But speaking of Gabrielle. Which nickname do you prefer Gabby, Gabe, Elle, orEllie?

Thank you. My best friend goes by Gabby and has a great number of nicknames I've given her. I use each one depending on her mood...I've called her Gibby, Gabster, Gibs, Gabrielle (not a nickname, but I only use it if I'm ranting), and Yo Gabby Gabby (yes, that last one is stupid out of context). As far as my personal preference, I would use Ellie or Brie. Good luck! <3

Middle names for Piper? I would love to have a daughter named Piper with a "J" middle name and call her PJ. So far I have:

Piper Josephine

Piper Joleigh

Piper Juliette

Piper Juliana (ahna)

Piper Judith

What do you think, and what other names would you suggest? Thanks.

I like Piper Josephine, Piper Juliette and Piper Judith! Other suggestions;

Piper June

Piper Jacqueline

Piper Janelle

Piper Jasmine/Piper Jessamine

Piper Joelle/ Josette

Hope you find something you like :)

I adore the name Persephone but I've always had a hard time coming up with a middle name to go along with it.

I currently have Persephone Rose, but I'm not sure if I like it anymore.

I think Persephone Rose is gorgeous! I love names from mythology! When it comes to "Persephone," I think it flows better with short middle names:

Persephone Jane

Persephone Joy

Persephone Eden (I'm not sure about this one because the E sound is back to back, so it depends on the surname.)

Persephone Elise

Persephone Jewel

Persephone Dawn

Persephone Hope

Persephone Faye

Persephone Brooke

Persephone Claire

Persephone Ava

But some longer ones sound good too:

Persephone Amelia

Persephone Artemis (I'm not sure about the flow on this one either, or if you might think it's too "mythological.")

Persephone Madeleine

Persephone Morgan

Persephone Annette

Persephone Gwyneth

Persephone Genevieve

Let me know if you find one you like! <3

I love Amity too! I like it in the middle spot but have had the same problem trying to find a place to fit it. It's one of those offbeat names that's hard to pair. Let's see if I can think of some middles.

Amity Pearl

Amity Juliet

Amity Josephine

Amity June

Amity Laurel

Amity Louise / Amity Louisa

Amity Violet

It's not much, but I hope I helped a little.

What are your thoughts on Maude Florence?

I like it. I'm not 100% a fan of Maude but I could see it working on the right little girl. Florence flows nicely with it and the two names fit together style-wise (it probably wouldn't work as well if you had a very modern/trendy name for a middle instead of a classic).

I have a question - what do you guys think of Nova? I recently discovered it while making my N-names this-or-that, and I found myself liking the stellar association and the twist-on-a-classic feel.

Even though it's not a name I would personally choose, I think the combo is great and wouldn't mind meeting someone with the name :)

I follow a family on YouTube that has a daughter named Nakova "Kova", and I've always thought it was really unique. Nova is also very pretty, and I agree the star association is a plus--makes it more relatable even though it's uncommon as a name.

I actually really like Nova, it sounds pretty.

Thoughts on Dwain for a boy? Or any other variants of that name.?
