The title is pretty self explanatory. What's that one name that fits all of your criteria and yet you just aren't crazy about anymore?

For me, I'm falling out of love with Winifred and Theodore...they're both sadly becoming lackluster *sigh*

I feel you on Grace. That was one I loved in elementary school, and I still like it, but it's just NMS anymore.

Ugh I feel that... I've loved Lorelei forever, but I'm just not sure of it now

Oooh, Lorelei is so pretty! It is starting to get used more often though, so I get feeling like it's....taken?

I was in love with Novaleigh/Novalee/Novalie(???) for awhile, but i could never decide on which spelling i liked best... so it's moved down quite a few notches on the favorites list.

A few others are:

Cheyenne

Madison

Kennedy

Cadence

Cayden/Kayden

Jackson

@heijohnson It's so funny that you say that, as I actually know three Miras and one Meera!

I know one Mira! All of the spellings of Novaleigh look kind of wrong to me, and for me it's very hard to say. I think that Cadence is quite sweet though!

Yeah to me Novalie always sounded dangerously close to "Novelty"... I agree with @delphimoon though Cadence is so cute!

Another name I've been kinda falling out of love with recently is Malcolm... I've always loved the name but hate the "mal" start for obvious reasons and "colm" I feel has some teasing potential if you understand what I mean...

Yeah....I wrote a blog post about villain names, and how Mal- is an iconic start for one. I mean, the words malcontent, malevolent, malpractice etc make that syllable one that a lot of writers use so that their readers get an "off" feeling right off the bat. So both sounds aren't great ones for me. I think another one that I've loved for a while that's kind of falling off my radar is Theo/Otto. They've just gotten so spoken about on forums and the like that they've lost their sparkle, in a way.

I definitely understand that! I'm so sad about Theo because it's so cute but I feel like the popularity has just skyrocketed so much that it's unusable. I feel like Roscoe could be an underused alternative to Otto though!

I feel like the same thing happened with my name (Sage). I feel like it was pretty low key but now it's a big deal which is kind of annoying haha

My name was never undercover (top ten rn)  :P ! I used to like Sage as a middle name for a boy, but seeing it so much has lessened the novelty.

I'm sort of scrapping Morwenna (moor-wee-nuh) in favor of Rowenna (pronounced the same but with an r)....I used to really love Morwenna, but Rowenna is just so much prettier to me. What do you think about Rowenna Elinore? That's my favorite spelling, even though it's sort of strange.

I absolutely love it! I actually prefer the Scottish Elinor/Elinore spelling to the more English Eleanor! Also, Rowenna is just so gorgeous and unheard of. I'd say it's 100% a winning name, and gives me royalty vibes

YES! It's just so much more dignified. Everyone was sort of all over Eleanor a couple months ago, and I thought the sound was pretty, but kind of lacking in elegance. And then I found Elinore and fell head over heels in love.

I used to really love the name Calvin, but lately it's becoming kinda meh to me. A name pairing that I'm slowly falling out of love with is Dallas Sage. I was going to use it as a pen name, but now it just seems not right.

I have a Rowenna that is about to turn 1, and I love her name soooo much! We call her Row or sometimes Wenny. We pronounce it roh-WHEN-ah instead of a long E sound though. :)

Woah, really? That's so neat! I have a little one (hedgehog  :P ) called Daphne, and her name has definitely not lost it's sparkle for me! I love it! I've never heard Wenny before. Honestly, I sort of like it better than Winnie, which I'm falling out of love with.
