The Duchess of Cambridge went into labour this morning, so there should be news of a royal baby anytime! I've been checking all day but no announcement yet lol. There's a whole protocol of how they have to announce the birth too, so it could be a while.


I'm hoping for a princess, because that would be awesome due to the new law, but this is the year for boys lol. My name prediction: Charlotte Alexandra Diana Elisabeth or George William Phillip Charles. Or something to that effect lol. Also, the baby will be Prince/Princess of Cambridge (where I live), so that also very exciting! We haven't had a royal baby for ages!

I believe they said they will announce the gender & name with an easel placed outside of the hospital with the details.

I think it'll be a GIRL! Adelaide Diana Elizabeth Carole.

You're sort of right Emily, usually it's a bulletin on the gates of the palace, but this time they're putting it on an easel on the entranceway.

I don't know if they're announcing the name straight away though. I read a couple of articles on the BBC website if you want more info.

I'm thinking it's a girl!! I think perhaps Alexandra Elizabeth Charlotte Diana or Alexandra Elizabeth Alice Diana. Or maybe even Alexandra Elizabeth Diana Frances. I definitely think Elizabeth will be the first middle name and Diana will be somewhere in there too

I don't think they'll announce the name straight away Previously it's taken weeks for the Royal baby's name to be announced. It took a week for Prince Williams name to be announced and an entire month before Prince Charles name was made known. Who knows though, maybe Kate and Wills won't follow the trend and will announce it straight away

I have a feeling it's a boy, though I want it to be a girl so I can have another queen in my lifetime. Something tells me it's a boy, though knowing me, I could easily be wrong.

For boys maybe Arthur, or Thomas. For naming after immediate family I would think Charles or William.

I was hoping for a girl, but I'm sure the little prince will be so handsome. Cambridge has a royal baby once more! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another George, but we'll see

I heard they plan on honoring Diana in his name. Spencer is the more obvious choice whether it's first or middle.

I'm hoping for a different name but still acceptable like maybe Oliver or something like that. I thought it was gonna be a girl though! So did most people!

I would love if they called him HRH Prince Alexander Henry Spencer James of Cambridge, it has such a nice ring to it.

So I was thinking, and Hugo would be a handsome name :3 Hugo Alexander Phillip James. Or maybe Augustin/Augustus? Valentin? I think Valentin nn Vali is adorable, but probably too out there for his Royal Highness
