I met Dominic "Nic" when I was just 11 years old.  We were friends in foster care, where friends are hard to come by.  He was 13 and had grand plans to run away.  My plans didn't include living on the street or being homeless so I told him no and waited until I turned 18 to leave.  I enrolled in college on a full ride and stayed in contact with Nic who lived near by and went to school online.  After I graduated he invited me to come be his room mate and I was thrilled.  Things progressed and we began to date.  It took four years for him to purpose by then I was a twenty eight year old forensic anthropologist and he was a pathologist.  We were married May 24 in New Port Rhode Island then settled there.  I had always wanted a big family because I didn't have one growing up but Nic wasn't so sure.  One year later I was pregnant with twins.  We found out there were fraternal, a girl and a boy.

I went into labor at three o'clock AM on March 12 and Nic immediately rushed me to the hospital.  Since we had rushed there so quickly after labor began, we waited a long time for our twins to arrive but couldn't be happier when they did.  We named them Dalton Andrew and Dana Alexis.  Nic was instantly smitten with the pair and I couldn't be happier.

 

 

Although both twins were bald at birth they later grew blonde hair and had blue eyes just like mum.  One year after the twins I was pregnant by surprise.  We were thrilled but worried since little Dalton was such a wild child that we already had to make trips to the ER.  My second pregnancy was a lot harder and it didn't help I had to chase two little ones but Nic was a big help.  It made since that the pregnancy was so hard because I was pregnant with triplets.  We were in shock for days.  I had a C-section on February 16 and had three healthy children.  Maxwell Cruz, Maya Sparrow, and Madison Navy.

 

Dana loved to give the babies kisses but Dalton had no interest in them.  Life for us was hectic but we were happy.  Two years later Nic decided he needed just one more boy to even it out so we tried for another baby.  I was pregnant after only two weeks of "trying".  I became pregnant with one baby this time.  When we told the kids they were all happy until I mentioned it was a girl.  Max started crying and Dalton smacked his own forehead and exclaimed, "What will I do with all these sisters!"  I began to feel contractions on October 22 but decided to wait to go to the hospital.  I kept putting it off until two PM when I was unable to move.  I had Dana call her father and work and he rushed home to find me delivering on the living room floor while the kids hid upstairs.  We ended up with an unplanned home birth but we were still thrilled to have Audrey Marie in our arms.

 

Audrey looked so much like her daddy with dark hair and dark eyes.  One year later I was eating at a diner when I felt sick from the smell of coffee.  I instantly knew and the doctors confirmed that I was pregnant for a fourth time.  She said I was already four months along much to my amazement.  I told the children (4,3,1) and Nic.  We were both worried but happy that it wouldn't be multiples.  Just three months later I gave birth to a premature baby girl.  She spent weeks in the NIQU but was ready to go home on September 11, exactly 14 days after her birth. We named her Cora Alexis.

 

I hoped that Audrey and Cora would get along but I'll have to wait to see.  Finally I realized go big or go home and one year later I was pregnant again.    I went into labor on May 13 and gave birth to Ruby Eve.  She was born happy and healthy and instantly all the children loved her. 

Finally I wanted to end with one little boy and I told Nic.  He said he would rather it be a girl but he would be happy with one final child.  We both got what we wanted with fraternal girl and boy twins.  On November 30 I gave birth to Sawyer John and Paige Rose.

 

We were happy our family was complete

 

Dana quiet polite and sweet, she loved her siblings and always mothered Dalton

Dalton rough loud and rowdy he became a runner and always had too much energy

Max looked up to max and tried to play with him no matter how many times he was sent away

Maya silly and goofy likes to play around and sing karaoke

Maddie likes to shop and dress up is very girly

Audrey has a huge imagination and loves to make up stories is always getting into trouble with Cora (normally Audrey's idea)

Cora is the artist and always plays with Audrey and they end up in trouble

Ruby Independent and stubborn loves to cook and can usually get away with anything

Sawyer a typical boy and loves to play baseball

Paige is a tom boy and likes to be better than Sawyer
