I am Japanese and my husband is Irish. We want to give our first child(daughter) a name that reflects both of our heritages.
Any ideas?

A Japanese name I always loved is Sakura, which means cherry blossoms. I also like Ayame, which means Iris.

An Irish name that I like is Aislinn. Or Ashling.

Hate to be rude but Sakura is SO popular. You can find a Sakura in almost EVERY japanese manga/anime.
