So the other day, I was talking to my dad about names. He brought up the name Padraig, a form of Patrick, which was almost my brother's name. Turns out my dad's a huge fan of Irish name---which would only make sense because he is 100% Irish
So to honor my father and my Irish heritage, I've paired my favorite names with Irish middle names. WDYT? Any suggestions?
Monica Siobhan (SHIH-von)
Lily Niamh (NEEV)
Rose Kathleen
Mariah Sinead (SHIN-aid)
Lydia Saoirse (SEER-shuh)
Jacob Declan (DECK-lin)
Simon Padraig (PAD-rig)
Joshua Cian (KEE-an)
Adam Seamus (SHAY-mus)
Irish Middle Names

I love Lily Niamh and Kathleen's become one of my favourite names of the last 2 months.
And Kathleen Rose could be cute. What about Emma Kathleen?
I have Scarlett Niamh on my list.
I like Joshua Cian and Adam Seamus.. what about Jacob Patrick? Or Liam Patrick? <3

Thanks Yas. I've been liking Kathleen a lot too, recently. It's similar to my sister's name, which I like, so it could almost be a way to honor her.
I like Emma Kathleen a lot. I don't know if I'd actually used Emma or not though. It's a pretty popular name...
Kathleen Rose is nice, but I like Rose as a first name.
As for using Patrick instead of Padraig---There's something special about Padraig, and my dad thinks it'd be neat if I used the name because he and my mom didn't. Still on the fence about it though. I'd only use it as a middle name, never a first name...

What about Simon Finnian? I think Finnian is just the coolest name! And I really love all the girl's names you listed.
