Well, since she keeps bugging me, I'll bug you guys!

My mom's good friend Lauren is having twin girls next month, but cannot find a second middle name for Ava Katherine.

She already has a 3 year old girl named Jaida Victoria Anne and is naming Ava's twin Sarah Elizabeth Skye [she stole it from my name list <_< ]. I'm sure you've seen the polls she's been making with my username =/

Lauren and Sean originally had Rose for a middle, but then Sean remembered an ex named Rose and vetoed it so here's their current list of options:

Ava Katherine Jane
Ava Katherine Hope
Ava Katherine Noel
Ava Katherine Emma
Ava Katherine June
Ava Katherine Lucy
Ava Katherine Lexi
Ava Katherine Tori
Ava Katherine Leah
Ava Katherine Ruby
Ava Katherine Luna
Ava Katherine Nora
Ava Katherine Jean
Ava Katherine Juli [you-lee]
Ava Katherine Rain

What do you guys think?

Thanks! ~Lexii, Lauren, Sean, Jaida, Sarah and Ava!

Actually, Noel was originally a girls name, I do believe. If you want a more feminine spelling, though, Noelle is a great name.

Anyway, I like Noel(le) or Juli.

Sean love Pearl too, but Lauren really wants a 4 letter name because of Anne and Skye.

They've cute some. Now the choices are:

Ava Katherine Jane
Ava Katherine Noel
Ava Katherine Lucy
Ava Katherine Ruby
Ava Katherine Juli

Lauren was hoping you could rate them 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest. Thanks guys!!

I just don't understand the whole 2 middle name things. it's pointless, IMO... but I liked Leah, and I see that's gone. I also liked Emma... I don't like any of the ones left.

I also don't like Skye, I think it's tacky. Ava Katherine and Sarah Elizabeth are FANTASTIC the way they are and should be left alone. Sorry I'm no help at all!

They want two because their oldest daughter, Jay has two. Jay was suppose to be their only child because something happened with her birth and the doctors told them they couldn't have anymore. But they ignored the doctor and did 3 IVF treatments and ended up getting pregnant on the last one. So they wanna follow the tradition of two down the the girls so they don't feel like Jay is above them!

As of now, they really want Ruby, Noel or Jane.

I have a question, is Noel pronounced Noel like Joel or Noel like Noelle? if it's Noelle I don't really like it, but Noel, I love. Ava Katherine Noel gets my vote.

I personally say Noel like Joel with that spelling, as does Lauren. Sean wants it to be Noel like Noelle but I still say Noel like Joel =D

I like Iris Johansen, Karen Marie Moning, Stephen King, James Patterson, Jane Austen, Charlotte Brontë, Diana Gabaldon, Kathy Reichs, and Robert Burns (every Scot's favorite author). I really love music and even got accepted to the Mason Gross School of Performing Arts at Rutgers University (my alma mater) for vocal performance. Unfortunately performance life was not for me, so I went into English Lit and French instead. Music is still a big part of my life, and I like a multitude of musical genres from Reggae to Rock to Opera. I've seen Carmen and La bohème each twice. (And I cry every time.) My husband and I also have a special place in our hearts for The Beatles.

Noel, spelled this way, is the English form of the masculine French name. Traditionally the French name is spelled Noël (the word for Christmas - masculine word in French) and pronounced "no-EL", but since we don't have the ë in English the name became Anglicized to Noel and is pronounced "nowl." Noelle is the French feminine form of the name - just like Gabriel(m) & Gabrielle(f).

Anyway, back to the names. I like Ava Katherine Rain would fit perfectly with twin sister Sarah Elizabeth Skye.

I think that Lauren and Sean have made beautiful choices with names before hand ... especially picking Victoria as a middle name.
My fiancee and I have had this same problem coming up with names for twin girls.

I think my favourite two from your list are:

AVA KATHERINE HOPE
AVA KATHERINE LEAH

I also love Emma, but you can't have that as my twin will be Emma... :(
