So, I was reading one of my favorite books ever, The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx and he mentions his daughter, Frankie Jean. And...I'm really loving Frankie for a girl! I just really don't like the girls names it's short for (Frances, Francine, Francesca)

What are your thoughts on the name without a "fuller" version? Just Frankie? But with a VERY feminine middle/first.

Frankie Alexandra/ia
Frankie Jordanna
Frankie Noelle
Frankie Evelyn (Evelyn Frankie? nn Evie?)
Frankie Marie Skye

Thoughts? :)

I kinda like Frankie... but only on a boy :( It certainly has a handsome sound to it, in my opinion. And I imagine a cool guy with the name. I have one association with Frankie on a girl though.. Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends! :P Hehehe <3 So its a good one, but idk :)

I can definitely say I don't love Frances, Francine, or Francesca all that much myself though <3 I mean, I like the idea of using a fuller name with nick name Frankie, but I can definitely relate on using nick names rather than the full name <3

I like Frankie Alexandra / Alexandria, very pretty <3

I think that Frankie could probably work as a girls name. I am also not a fan of Francine, Francesca, etc... I really like Frankie Jordana and Evelyn Frankie, they are both really pretty names. Personally Frankie on a girl really isn't my style, but if you like it I would say go for it! :)

What about Francisca as a full name. I do like Frankie on its own though or with Rae
Frankie Rae

I went to school (elementary through high school) with a girl named Franki which wasn't short for anything. It always seemed to suit her.

Saw this on Pinterest and thought you would like it...http://projectnursery.com/projects/frankie-sofias-whimsical-nursery/

Thanks for all your help! I really love Frankie Alexandria and Evelyn Frankie :)

CharlPlant, I really like Frankie Rae...maybe use it as a double first name (Frankie Rae Alexandria, Frankie Rae Jordyn?)

Thanks Katie! That actually really helps a lot! I can picture a little girl with dark curly hair named Frankie

My best friend's older sisters name is Frankie, and it's not short for anything and she is the sweetest. I love her and that name
