Me and the hubby both are torn between Madeline and Chloe for our baby girl to be. Which name do you like better and why? Middle name suggestions? Thanks ahead of time! ~Grace

I love both! I am going to say Madeline though, just because I know a lot of dogs named Chloe.

Thank you for all the great help! I love Madeline rose and Madeline Paige, and Madeline Eden is very nice too. I definitely agree with you that there are a lot of dogs named chloe, but I'm still stuck between the two names!

Firstly, I can see how you and your husband are torn, I would be in the same predicament...they are both great names. Secondly, there may be a lot of dogs with the name Chloe, however; in this day and age, there's a lot of dogs with a lot of different names. For example, Mackenzie seems to be growing more and more popular, and yet, I know dogs with that particular name. The point is, a lot of people (not everyone) but the majority, consider animals to be part of the family, so why not give them a normal name, and not something like 'Fluffy'. I just wouldn't let "But its a dogs name", determine your choice. That's just my two cents.

The possibility of middle names is endless, the only thing is, it might be a tad bit easier to find a middle name to go along with Madeline. There's always the possibility of using a family name for the middle as well, perhaps a grandmothers, great grandmothers, aunt, etc.

Madeline - I much prefer the spelling Madeleine.

I would use either of these. . Here's my dilemma: I like both equal as much. Altho I do prefer Madeleine and how its not as popular as Chloe is. Each spelling has a different popularity level but this particular spelling is broke the 300s on the 2011 name list for the US. Where as Chloe is number 10 for the same year. I've listed the middle name ideas i have for each. I have a bunch for the simple fact that i cant get it narrowed down to one.
