Kinda like another post I did about Gwendolyn, I find myself curious about this one.

First of, which spelling? With the I or the Y? Normally I'm not fond of Y names like that, but I kinda like the version with it, myself. What do you think of the name?

I got it from Lost Girl. The main character's name is Bo, but according to my research it's short for Ysabeau. And I really like the name. I don't know if I'll use it for a story or future children or anything like that, but it's definitely on my faves list right now.

But like Gwendolyn, I can't really think of good sib names to go with it :( And I have a thing about names needing to sound good together lol. Suggestions? Opinions? Please and thanks! :)

One of my rats is named Gwendolyn. xD The others are Beatrice, Rosalind & Cecily. I think those names go well together, though "Beatrice" is much less frilly than the others.
You could also spell it Gwendolen.

i really like the name, but I can't say I'm a fan of either of the spellings. I read a book series once and one of the characters was called Isaboe. I personally prefer this spelling, but from your two suggestions I like Isabeau.

I've only known one girl named Isabeau and she hated the way it was spelled, when she turned 18 she legally changed it to Isabo.....personally not a fan, but I'm not really a fan of the name to begin with. It's just not my style. Though Ysabeau is a little icky looking to me :P

Isabo's not bad, either. Especially if they wanted to spell it Bo x) It kinda bothered me on the show how she spelled it that way when in the name it's spelled '-beau'. But I guess I can't talk. My mom always said it annoyed her that I spell my name with two n's when my full first name only has one. And I know! I normally hate Y names like that. I have no idea why it appeals to me now.
