Sorry this is long.I want to honor grandparents when I eventually have kids and have names that are after all but one grandparent. Any suggestions?

Darli/Darla Diane nn DeeDee (there was a mix up with papers spelling her name different on paper its darli but shes gine by Darla for years)

My mom, paternal aunt and i all have the middle name Diane/DiAnn(mom spelled mine weird) as well so I think thats overused.

How do you feel about Darci Deanna? A first name similar to Darla, spelled the same way as Darli, and a middle name that's a variation on Diane.

Other suggestions:
Darlene
Dinah
Darla Anne
Darbi
Indiana
Deidra

I don't want to use Diane in any way since my family uses middle names alot. It gets confusing hearing "diane" and 4 of us are like "yeah what do you need." Darla reminds me of the little rascals dear Darla I hate your stinking guts note.

I do like Darlene and Darci however.

Im glad I could help, and I understand. Do you still want the middle name to start with a D?

If you want to go a little outside the box, you could go with names that have a similar meaning to Darla and Diane.

Darla means "darling." Some other names with that meaning are...

Sherry/Sherri/Cherie

Mavourneen (Irish name meaning "my darling")

Mignon

Aimee/Amy (means "beloved," so similar to darling)

Amanda

Carys (Welsh name meaning love)

Cara / Carina

Diane was the Roman goddess of the moon, hunting, and forests. She was also the protector of women in childbirth (similar to the Greek Artemis). Names that mean "moon" include...

Artemis

Lucine / Lucina

Luna

Selene / Selena / Celine

Names related to hunting and forests include...

Silvia / Sylvia

Marley

Hope this helps and gives you some ideas!
