How would you pronounce Javan?

How would you spell the name Ja-van? I don't want people to think its Jay-van, jay-vaun, jau-vaun, etc, etc.

I would have said Jay-vin but I could see pron. it Ja-vin (like Gavin).

My initial reaction when I read the name was to say Ja-Vaughn.

There is this girl at my school with this name. Its pronounced Jay-van. I'm not sure for which gender you want for this name.

I would pronounce it like HA-van, but only because it looks Spanish to me, and that's how they would pronounce it.

It's a cute name though, and I think it sounds good however you pronounce it.
